I was going to purchase a Garmin Venu 3s ($749) when I noticed this one on sale for $30 more.

The Fenix range is Garmin's top offering, this particular model has Sapphire glass and titanium back plate too making it the top of the range from the Fenix 7s line (if you don't mind the dimmer MIP screen which I prefer anyways)

I am aware there is a 7s Pro which is out with flashlight and updated heart rate sensor, but that is nearly double the price - I see that JB Hifi also have the Fenix 7s Solar on sale at $849, but once again that doesn't include the Sapphire screen or Titanium.

I am not 100% sure as to Kogan stock as I haven't used them before, however they seem to suggest they are an authorised Garmin seller and this is brand new Australian stock with Australian warranty.

..Now lets hope it helps me get fit!

  I believe Venu 3s also has the upgraded HR sensor.

    It does yes, but I prefer the look of this Fenix much more with the metal finishing. The venu seems very plasticky in comparison, I was only going for that as the Fenix was out of my budget initially before I saw this sale!

    I have read a few reviews too and the elevate 4 sensor (on this Fenix 7s) seems to perform just as good as the elevate 5 sensor on the venu and 7s pro
