$50 for qld. Pretty rough. Will use them as a last resort for a churn if I can't find anything else

  • Thanks OP.

Moved gas across - for the $100 sign up bonus. Thanks

    • 12 month contract… no thanks — that 100$ will get chewed up in 1/4 that time when slugged on their terrible rates..

  • Thanks. Rates are pretty high and remember to check PEAK rates are we are now in May. Site is still showing off peak rates which is misleading

Based on our household usage habits (newish gas storage hot water, gas stove, 2 adults, 3 children) it's $7.50/month more expensive than Tango energy for Multinet gas in Victoria.
So will need to churn back or elsewhere after the first two months (bill cycle is 60 days).

  • 12 month contract but no exit fees. Works out pretty well for me, thanks OP.

  • Just switched, thanks OP!

  • Contract term - 12 months? so if I switch I am stuck with them for 12 months?

    • Nope. Means the price is locked for 12 months I think. Definitely no exit fee

  • Just make sure they are the best offer for you before taking advantage of the deal. For instance yeah I might get $100 off gas but if I look at their best offer on compare.energy.vic.gov.au they are about $300+ more expensive than the best overall yearly price.

    • The trick is to churn after getting the upfront benefit
