I got to see Noel Gallagher last year. It was great finally being able to tick off singing Wonderwall along with a Gallagher. Funny bastard, the fact that everyone was only there to hear the Oasis songs was not lost on him.
I saw him do an acoustic show about 20 years ago, he purposely performed all the songs differently so no one could sing along to them. Amazing show, definitely a highlight.
I saw Oasis play, they came out an hour late and Liam was almost too drunk to sing (definitely too drunk to talk, but seemed to be able to belt it out). I’m not surprised they split up, they seem horrible for each other.
