Kincrome 20oz Hammer & Knife Combo Kit $25 (RRP $39) in Select Stores Only @ Bunnings Warehouse

160

This is an odd combo, possibly made just for Bunnings as I can't find other stockists. Total tools seem to have a hammer and tape measure combo. The RRP was $39, looks like Bunnings are discontinuing them.

The hammer alone is $39.00

The knife alone is $21.95

There were two left on the shelf in Werribee.

The link to the product on the website has been removed so your best to check your local Bunnings if you're in today or over the weekend.

Hammer looks pretty sturdy and ergonomic but is the lighter 20oz with a chunkier head. The knife is one I have had for a while and genuinely do rate them. They're well made and last forever.

Not a deal for everyone but, maybe if you're browsing you can keep an eye out in your local.

You never actually own a Estwing hammer. You simply look after it for the next generation!

If you cant solve it with a hammer or a knife, is it worth solving?

An old saying is, "if you can''t fix it with you hammer, you need a bigger hammer."

      • Or a knife

Will this be the new staple in youth crime?

    • +3

Those knives wont. I have the exact same and really dislike the blade securing system it uses. Comes loose very easily after just a little wear and tear. They can have their pending patent.

They can have their pending patent.

Once the youth get a hold of this knife, it can still mean "patient pending"

        • +1

Patient pending, crime is trending. Society values cultural blending.

    On a serious note ,
I find 20oz hammers to put too much stress on the wrist over time ,
hence the constant sales on them ,
16oz is just about perfect for me .
Just find a slightly lighter hammer you can be more accurate and drive nails home with force over a longer time .
Maybe around the home you just need heavy thing to smash
    Personal Preference Perhaps

    • You need to do more wrist exercises. That's my excuse anyway.

Probably made in China from cheap soft steel, which will get destroyed with any moderate use

  • Just came here to say I bought the knife from Kinchrome and it's great, but by itself it comes with a nice pouch and spare blades. I also have a Kinchrome glass scraper and toolbox and all are great products. Highly recommend!

Not trying to be smart but for yourself and OP it's Kincrome. No silent H.

Stock checker shows plenty in store. Oddly enough it says $7.50 but in-store prices will be more reliable.

$15 at my local, these have been on clearance for ages now! Good hammer

  • At these prices I remove my objections.
    Big hammer Smash Good .
