    Seems expensive, you can get a 830 G8 32GB 512GB on ebay for only $750 delivered, not sure if this is worth $550 more

      Intel lol
      The 7840u is actually a very good chip with excellent battery life and super high performance
      My older G9 can play GTA V at max settings.

      Some passmark scores for comparison

      I have the older G9 it is a bit dim but colours are "ok" but definitely better than your average consumer laptop.
      Easy to replace on this model if you really hate it.

      I hope we understand that Chinese is also an ethicnic group (or if Chinese heritage) than people living in modern day China governed by communis government.

      For example, many of the second third gen in Australia, are more Austrlian and are well adapted to the modern Australia than a bogan from the outback.

      Equally, a Singaporean Chinese would not hesitate to claim his/her Chinese heritage, and yet anything (as reluctant to be associated with) to do with the modern day China.
