  • whats the warranty length and does amazon cover it or dreame?

    • I'd like to know this too

    • It's sold by Dreame, so it'll be Dreame not Amazon.

    • Dreame Australia have a 2 year warranty.

      • Poor customer service, if it needs a repair/replacement. Otherwise good.

        • Good thing Amazon have your back.

  • +1

I have one of these, unfortunately for more than this price :( and we're really happy with it. The app is probably the biggest let down, a little clunky, makes a few tasks harder than they should be, altering maps can be un-intuitive or just won't let you change something you should be able to. But performance wise it actually does better than I expected on both mopping and vac. And once you have it set up, the app works fine for auto scheduling etc. The AI identify mostly works but it did tie itself in a not in my headphone cable when I accidentally left it out one time.

  • This has an extra 2 cleaning solutions. The accessories pack does not have this.

    • Are there alternatives to the Dreame cleaning solutions that you can use?

      • There is stuff online. But it would void warranty I suspect.

  • This or the q revo maxv?

    • Q revo has big size water tanks than this which doesn't need quick refills. This dreame has better obstacle avoidance than revo. Other than that seems same whichever is cheaper. With the careful thought i bought Dreame L10s pro ultra heat which has mostly latest technology of Dreame L20 for $1500 approx last week price matching with Harvey Norman last week extra 10% gift card deal on floor care products. Quite happy with it , just mapping could be improved. You can see comparison of various dreame vacuums on their website for better decision.

q revo maxv, has the extendable side mop and warm water cleaning of pads.

    • -1

Q revo max v far better and cost wise more as well. This one is comparable with Q revo.

      • I don't think that's true according to all the reviews I read/watched e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ew0z1-vVgkI

        • +1

The review comparison is maxv with L10s pro ultra heat not the above on sale. I bought L10s pro ultra heat considering better than max revo. I know confusing models nearly same names with huge differences in L10s with L10s pro ultra heat.

          • @Rose123: You mean the l10s ultra and l10s ultra heat aren't the same? Oh the pro version right 👍

            • @ValouSydney: It's only $100 extra on the dreame website and looks much better in case someone is interested. I think they also just released a V2… So confusing.

            • @ValouSydney: Yes both are different. L10s ultra pro heat specs more matches withtop one L20.

              • +1

@Rose123: I'm waiting on the s8 maxv but hoping it won't be too expensif.
It was listed $3000 on Binglee before they removed the page.
Hopefully a bit cheaper on sale so it's not too much of a difference with the revo maxv

                • @ValouSydney: Just watched s8max v ultra video, thats a beast ..good luck with the pricing.

  • By chance I saw a video of the latest flagship model X40 Ultra and started looking and realised that they don't even sell X30 (and the X series) here in Australia.

    • Am considering buying latest flagship from China direct and getting shipped to oz because of huge price difference. Big issue is can’t use app because of region lock. But I see it’s possible to hotspot VPN to device, still mulling over it.

      • Don't do it - I got mine to work after finding some russian DNS that I have to pay a subscription for ($3 per month).
But I'm not really comfortable with funnelling my home's DNS queries through that DNS…..
Also, I can't find any chinese vpn for less than $120 per year.

  • Bought a q revo maxV couple of weeks back for 1760$, this price may still be available at jb hifi commercial through Australian Retirement Trust rewards (free to join).

Coming over from an old still working S5 model:

    Good:
    Quietly runs compared to S5
    Plenty of hello rocky commands
RGB camera to see what has been avoided while vacuuming
Self maneuvering if robot gets stuck under furniture
while you are away from home
    Auto empty dust bin
Auto empty dirty water and filling in clean water
Auto mop washing and heated drying
Mopping extend arm to clean corners

    Could have been better:
Mopping arm sometimes randomly pulls out even if there are no corners thereby sometimes missing to mop areas where the arm had extended
Clean water usage is high if vacuum is sent back for washing after cleaning each room or after 15 mins
Could perform better under dining tables with 6 chairs. The sweeping brush sometimes brushes away visible dust thereby missing it. It can be resolved by requesting twice vacuum
The robot randomly says could not understand command if it hears words that are rhyming words or sounds like rocky

    • I am in the still working S5 looking to upgrade camp as well, thanks this is useful

    • RGB camera to see what has been avoided while vacuuming ??

Can you actually use this as remote camera ?

      • Yes you can with both the Dreame and the Q Revo MaxV

      • If you enable this option then yes you can see what the robot has avoided while vacuuming and maneuver it.

  • Horrific customer service, I purchased a Z10 Pro directly from them and after 15 months the auto empty stopped working, after months of back and forth they agreed to repair it for free and then returned me a bricked (firmware broken) vacuum and have refused a refund based on it being out of warranty despite consumer law suggesting otherwise. Go to https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/dreame-technology to see all the nightmare experiences others have had. I've purchased a Eufy from JB Hi Fi because at least a brick and mortar store might follow Australian Consumer Laws.
