    Highly recommend these guys.

    Used 2 X eSIMs on recent trip to Japan (with transit in China) and worked as advertised, including getting through the great firewall of China.

    I also had an issue when I initially tried installing eSIM and they made good while changing instructions for future users to avoid the same issue.

    I'm looking to get one for my in-laws - will you have another sale closer to mid May?

      Hey there!

      There are pros and cons with each but since you are going to the major cities the softbank 5G one is really great value! Especially since this is a local card.

      The other SIM with 3 providers is great for maximum coverage.

      eSIM saver has to be used within 30 days and is not designed for large downloads or 4K streaming.

    Got the 15gb 180day China esim. It's so good with VPN to use all foreign apps without any issues! Fast speed even in remote areas. Question for rep: i activate in April and I'm back in Aus now but will be heading back to China in June.
    1. Can i use the same esim if i have data left given i bought 180days?
    2. Assuming yes, I'm changing to a new phone so can i transfer the esim to my new phone?

      Yes you definitely need a travel SIM in China to access all the blocked apps.

      As long as it's within your 180 days period you can use any leftover data and if you want to transfer to a new phone the carrier imposed a charge to reset the QR code. Just let us know if you want to proceed.

    We had issues with Indonesian eSIM before, had to travel here and there to meet the locals to troubleshoot. I would just buy physical card from airport.

    But all other esims, Japan, China, Malaysia and other countries, were all great! Highly recommend.

      Hello you must have purchased the local Telkomsel eSIM - unfortunately at the time our local Indonesian partner had to help as it is outside our control.

    Feedback : Bought 2 Asia Explorer physical sim cards for our recent trip to China and South Korea. We only used it in China. South Korea wifi is easily available. 1sim worked very well as we managed to connect to China Unicom (Network Operator) as suggested but the other sim just cannot connect to China Unicom. Whatsapp the company while transiting in China to South Korea, got an immediate response but when we returned to China again (29/3), we faced the same issue with the same sim for not connecting to China Unicom (NO) and no wifi being available. WhatsApp the company somehow we never got a response this time. Could be because of Good Friday/Easter holidays weekend.

      We reply almost 24/7 with no holidays. We did recently changed our whatsapp number and you should receive a notification about it on your whatsapp (you can check) or click on contact us whatsapp button it will direct to the new number.

      Yes you have to use the eSIM in the supported countries within 30 days. You will then have another 30 days from first use.

      We think SIMs are great because one less device to charge and no need to stay within range to get connection.

    Hi there - Is the Docomo IIJ SIM a local Japanese SIM and does it support WiFi calling? Keen to be able to use my boost prepaid service to make and receive calls whilst in Japan over the data SIM, so was looking for some feedback if anyone's managed to get that to work.

      No that is not possible - you can use "WiFi" calling over mobile data.

      You must be connected to WiFi in order to use the Wi-Fi calling feature.

          None of them has any voice - they are all data-only.

          Your best bet is using your Boost / Telstra to do Wi-Fi calling or subscribe to Voip service such as Skype.

      You need to use the eSIM in Japan within 30 days, you will have 30 days of service from first activation.
