  • “Offer available from 10/4/24 to 16/4/24 on all denominations of gift cards listed excluding Ultimate Baby & Mum $50, Ultimate Thanks $50, Ultimate Kids $50-$500, Ultimate Teens $20-$500, Ultimate Home $50-$500, Ultimate Everyone $50-$500, Ultimate Eats $30-$500….”

Does this mean we have to buy below $50 denomination GC only if I buy Ultimate Everyone?

    • -1

I think that comes in $50 and $100 only

      • So that means Ultimate Everyone is excluded from this deal?

        • +10

          No.

Ultimate Everyone $50-$500 only refers to the variable load denomination, where you can choose to load any amount between $50 and $500 onto the gift card.

Woolworths also sells an Ultimate Everyone gift card in a fixed value denomination ($100), and that is eligible for this deal. You can actually see that particular denomination pictured in the catalogue. Other retailers (e.g. Coles, BIG W) sell another fixed value denomination for Ultimate Everyone gift cards ($50), but I believe Woolworths does not stocks that.

    • '$50-$500' is the variable load card.

      • So is Airbnb available in any of these cards?

        • +1

          No.

I checked the Ultimate gift card website an hour ago, and Airbnb was not listed as a participating retailer.

OP has also added a table of participating retailers in the deal description, and Airbnb is nowhere to be seen in that table.

  • just wondering, wws metro has the same ?

    • in-store only at Woolworths Supermarkets and Woolworths Metro

      • thanks, my dear eyes

  • variable load was the only good deal yet excluded.

    • Included. It's worth a note that EDR limits the bonus points per day if I remember correctly from my last experience, 10k points per day per account, and you need another account to get more i.e. 2x $500 GCs. Also, if you create a new account, it can take a few to 24 hours for it to become active. To be safe, always check with the staff at/before paying.

Similar to the EDR Extra, 10% is limit to $50 per day if I recall it correctly.

      • For this deal:

excluding Ultimate Baby & Mum $50, Ultimate Thanks $50, Ultimate Kids $50-$500, Ultimate Teens $20-$500, Ultimate Home $50-$500, Ultimate Everyone $50-$500, Ultimate Eats $30-$500….”

        • Yeah, it's a bit confusing there when it doesn't state it straight and clearly. Checking upon Him is not on the exclusion list. idk.

          • @Bii: Does Woolworths stock variable load Ultimate Him gift cards? I have seen them stocked at BIG W for a while now, but I have never seen them at a Woolworths (including when I was at one Woolworths yesterday).

            • @WookieMonster: Sorry, I don't know. Finding a GC at Colesworths is always tricky. They should label them then customers can tell at a glance if the one they are looking for has been sold out or not.

  • +2

    Ultimate Thanks OP

  • +1

Be good if some still work with BCF looking at the terms and conditions I will have to head into store and check! With the 10 dollars of $150 spent instore promo at bcf in the form of a voucher will equate to in effect a 16.6% saving good value if you are patient and wait until there is a special or get them to price match an item you need!

  • +12

Just here to say thanks to Wookie for the 5000 questions he will inevitably answer 😉

  • This is basically a 10% cash back as woolies credit right ? Not sure what 1x rewards are.

    • +4

yeah just use it with the shopback supermarket card for an extra 2.25 percent off essentially and use points for groceries

      • Can you tell me more about the supermarket card? Do you add it to Apple Pay to pay for your purchase?

And is it easy to check the balance of the card?

        • +1

i use for google play and its prepaid visa card and it adds like any other egift card. so basically ends up as a tap and go so hopefully its the same process for apple pay
balance wise there is a link where you have to put the card number and other details in to check the balance of it but usually i just keep a manually tally of my purchases to know the amount. in this case i feel like people will buy whole amounts like $100, $200 or $300 which is the balance of the supermarket card itself so it will be an easy one and done purchase.

          • +1

@Jollystacker: Oh nice! This just worked for me. Never knew you can do this. Beats out guessing if prepaid card can or cannot pay for another GC

  • I have a few teen ultimate giftcards that have $5 to $10 remaining. Is there a way to get use the value?

    • Timezone can do split. Remember to stack with double credit or so.

  • In the absence of Preezze and Gift.card, this seems to be the way to go for GCs at current.

  • If I buy the ultimate gift card, can I use multiple to buy from IKEA online? Want to order about $3k worth of stuff

    • Yes.

If you look at the Gift Card FAQ page linked at the bottom of OP’s description, it has a FAQ that addresses your question.

Additionally, if you look at the FAQs on the IKEA Australia website, it says:

There is no limit to the number of cards that can be used as payment.

      • I would.need to buy 30x $100 gift cards then eh ??

        • Yes.

If you only have access to one Everyday Rewards account, that means you need to purchase 5x $100 Ultimate Everyone/Home gift cards each day for six days during this deal. If you have access to more Everyday Rewards accounts, that will speed things up…

          • +1

@WookieMonster: And to clarify the total maximum rewards points per day if buying 5 * $100 Ultimate GC = 10,000 Rewards points?

            EDIT-
went to the link and checked, it's 10k rewards.

  • Any gift cards that can be used at rebel sports ?

  • Good post! Is there any word on when Coles will be doing 10% off the prepaid cards?

  • Hey guys, I know this is not related to it but I can't find it.
Does anyone know where that post with all How to get discounted gift cards through insurances or super etc is?
I can't find it at all..

  • Seen some comments on previous posts about signing up for a 2nd everyday rewards card. Does anyone know how they are doing it? I tried using a different email address but it says I already have an account. I think they might've matched my phone number since I used the same one.

    • i have one linked to my email address, and another linked to my phone number

  • Shelf strip not up in store I went to and loads of everyone 100s on shelf

  • It looks like all variable-load gift cards are excluded.

So, if I want an Ultimate Everyone $500 gift card, do I have to buy 5 * $100 gift cards? Or is there a $500 denomination gift card?
    Thanks

    • +1

You will need to purchase 5x $100 Ultimate Everyone gift cards (and you will need to work out whether this is something the participating retailer(s) can accommodate).

If you look at the related post on the FreePoints website, it has a table of the denominations that should be stocked at Woolworths and are included in this deal.

      • +1

        Thank you!

  • can you buy the gift cards using another gift card like everyday wish card?

    • I would be very surprised if you could do that.

      • That is against the terms and conditions for all gift cards issued by Woolworths Group (including Everyday WISH gift cards).

      • The checkouts should block you if you attempt to do this. The relevant FAQ in the Gift Card FAQ wiki page covers this in more detail (and this wiki page is linked at the bottom of this deal’s description).

    • gift cards are blocked

  • Based on the ultimate gift card website, the card is treated as a credit card. How do you stack 5 x $100 cards online purchase at JB? I thought it only allows one credit card.

    • +3

There is a FAQ in the wiki page linked at the bottom of OP’s description that explains what you need to do in this scenario.

(In short, go the Ultimate gift card website and exchange your Ultimate gift cards for JB Hi-Fi digital gift cards.)

      • +1

        thanks! that's great help.

      • Can I do the same for the iconic. jB had gone fine in the past but need to purchase something off iconic for 700

        • I have no experience shopping on The Iconic, but from what I can find, you should be able to do the same.

          • Clause 9.1 of the The Iconic terms and conditions says you can redeem multiple gift cards in one transaction (and I could not find any gift card redemption limits specified anywhere on their website).

          • I just logged into the Ultimate gift card exchange portal, and could see an option for The Iconic.

          • +1

@WookieMonster: Wow that you for your effort and assurance. Much appreciated.

  • went to have a look and realised Uber is not part of HIM or Everyone. Is it because they stopped supporting it or there is some way of redeeming the ultimate gift card on uber?

    • +2

I can still see it for HIM under 'Exchange for eGift Card'

      • Uber is still listed on the Ultimate Everyone gift card webpage too.

        • +1

Thanks was suppose to check Everyone too, but got distracted.

      • Cheers, bought a $100 HIM card (along with my $10 off woolies) and exchanged for an Uber egift card online and it worked!

    • +2

@Shankskun For Everyone, you exchange online to Uber or Uber Eats

The Everyone physical card does not have Uber/Uber Eats written on it though

      https://www.ultimategiftcards.com.au/card/everyone/

      • Ah so you buy the physical one and go to the ultimate website to exchange? I’ll give it a try!

  • I saw Kogan under Ultimate Everyone and Ultimate Home, wondering if can use those gift cards to buy Kogan Mobile Prepaid Voucher Code: SMALL (365 Days FLEX | 120GB) ?

    • i don't see why not, you check out the same

    • As far as I know, Ultimate do not allow you to swap their cards for Kogan's own gift cards (unlike TCN) so you're forced to use them like any other debit/credit card. That means you can only use a single Ultimate card and its balance must be equal to or greater than the purchase price.

As this promotion excludes variable load cards, the largest denomination you can buy is a fixed value $100 card which would leave you $20 short. One possible workaround would be to separately buy one of Kogan's own $20 vouchers and use that in combination with a $100 Ultimate Everyone or Home card.

      • Many thanks for your reply. I decide to buy a fixed value of $50 card and two Kogan's own $70 ($20+$50) eGift card (vouchers) so that I can redeem cashback deal from Commbank Yello (Spent $50 more to get $10 cashback)

  • perfect, i was going to get a garmin watch at rebel.

only get 3 points to the $1, now i get 20x points which turns into 10x qantas points.

  • I am a bit new to converting ultimate cards to a particular variety. Did it recently with JB and was able to puchase with multiple egift cards after gleaning info here.
Now I am looking at converting to Hotels.com GCs and because we can only get $100 cards would need 4 cards for the purchase I want.
From my readings it looks like I can only use one GC which is a pain. I did however find a link that said I could combine cards but unfortunately it appears you can do it in any currency other than AUD as per attached below.

"If you haven’t previously merged this card and it still is not being recognised, ensure you are on the correct site. You can choose between USD, GBP, SEK, and CAD. AUD cannot be merged due to Australian laws, but you can still check the balance here."

Does anybody out there have a way of combining Hotels.com gift cards please.

    • ultimate everyone is up to $500 on 1 card

      • Yep, but bonus points not on the variable cards unfortunately, so limited to the $100 cards

        • i think they are, i was just in woolies and saw them advertising those variable cards on the ad on the gift card end cap

  • I've visited 3 inner Sydney Woolies and all have been out of Everyone cards. Anyone been able to find them in stock?

  • Got a500 worth of Ultimate everyone but didn’t get any points.

    • That might be because the variable load cards were specifically excluded:

excluding Ultimate Baby & Mum $50, Ultimate Thanks $50, Ultimate Kids $50-$500, Ultimate Teens $20-$500, Ultimate Home $50-$500, Ultimate Everyone $50-$500, Ultimate Eats $30-$500

Give Everyday Rewards a call or message and they'll probably credit you the points as a once off gesture of good will.

  • Is something wrong with the website? I can't exchange my gift cards.

  • Hi, can i buy Ultimate him card for $500 and still get these bonus points?
