Asahi Soukai The lower carbohydrate content of Asahi Soukai (pronounced 'souk-eye') makes this a non-filling and easy to drink beer. Best served cold, expect a refreshing crisp taste that's unmistakably Asahi, followed by a slight bitterness for balance. Soukai is a mid-strength beer that doesn't compromise on premium taste or quality.

Cheers!

    • Tried logging in, seems I had a temp password and never changed it and basically locked the account out. Assume the code goes through some two step verification against emails..

FYI for WA folks feeling left out, Costco Casuarina has Asahi at this price

  • Is this made in/imported from Japan please OP?

    • +1

Hi There - it's Australian brewed. Over 90% of Asahi in Australia is produced here these days.

      • +2

I don't know about 90 percent, the big cans always seem made in Japan.

        • Used to. they're now made in China.

          • @bhunter101: I've been to one of the factories in Shikoku tell me it isn't so

            • @Donmega123: Most of the cans say Japan you'd think it would be cheaper if it's made in Australia

  • Invalid code as well

  • +2

Ah it's the pox Australian one sadly, no way an Australian is going to best a Japanese at making Japanese beer

  • I got the message:
    Error adding to cart.

    I checked that I am over 18.

    Any idea why?

Fewer and fewer genuine Imported beers these days… either brewed under licence in Aus or China… Even Corona these days… Yet they still price these as if they were imported…Total BS… Give us the real thing!

    • Not under license. These are brewed here at CUB, which is owned by the big multinational Asahi!

  • Invalid code
