Google matched most retail store price of $549 (Save $200 from RRP).

However, you can obtain the Student Bean discount code to get a further 10% from RRP, bring it down from $749 - $200 - $74.90 = $474.10.

      renew the Google one subscription?? nah, unfortunately you can't use google store credit to renew any subscriptions.
      you can only use that to buy hardware from the google store.

    was close to buying this yesterday until i started reading about poor battery performance. anyone have one that can comment?

      Nothing is perfect. You are getting Fast Processing power with little money. Battery is not the best but it last me the full day. (and I am a moderate user)

          Pretty fast for mid range and Google are clearly going to do a good job optimising software for their own product. The cameras on pixels are great too. Battery is only thing I'd want done better but happy enough with it (on my 6a)

      Battery is pretty shocking. I previously had a low end Samsung a series and noticed the difference a lot.

      Now I'm familiar with it, the performance & speed is great.

      it's not bad either

      you can do most of a work day,and be on the train on way home still have 59 percent left.

      I had one for a bit and i could work on it all day,watch videos at lunch, hour or two of youtube on travel home and easily still have 60 plus time im home..

      just turn location shit off it uses HEAPS

          Ha, 59% by the end of the work day - I'd be screaming from the root tops if my P7 did that.

          Bad screen, horrible battery, small screen - my first and last pixel. Waiting for a good deal on an S23/24+ to move away from pixel for good.

      No matter what product you look at, someone, somewhere will be moaning about it for some reason. Battery life will be heavily dependent on how you use your phone, so one person's experience is unlikely to be the same for everyone else.
      If you are a heavy user/gamer/Social-Media-swiping-addict, then you'll need a bigger battery and will pay more for it. For most normal people, the 7a at $474 is probably the best bang for buck phone you can get. The 8a is due out soon so they are likely clearing the shelves in anticipation. I expect the 8a to go for somewhere around $800 so this is a bargain.

      Pixel 6 warranty should be two years here, right? You might still be within the warranty period. Contact your retailer or Google for an RMA, then trade-in or sell the refurb unit that you get back.
