Was sad that Big W's price on the Moto G54 went back to full price but then I noticed that Bing Lee has them even cheaper at $219.

Was able to price beat with Officeworks over the phone.

      Added your post for reference. Used it as a template. Thanks for the good work

    Great price but just FYI, MediaTek SoC is garbage. Laggy AF. I would never touch one again. You're far better off paying a bit more for the G84 with the SD 695 in it.

      Lack of esim on G84 is a deal breaker for me.

      another blanket statement. I have one of these and it works just fine. Overall even better than my previous galaxy s21

        I don’t doubt that. Exynos is equally as shit.

          Another person who doesn't understand the concept of 'fit for purpose'. Not everyone needs the fastest processors. Then again internet.

          PS: Not laggy at all for everyday apps.

            @gimme: Maybe for browsing the web, sure. Just try doing something labour intensive and watch it soil itself. I'm speaking from experience and have used both chipsets.

              @1r4n14n: Let me list
              browsing
              banking
              youtube
              messaging
              airlines/booking
              etc etc

              all work just fine. you may need it for labour intensive stuff (most people don't) hence my comment about fit for purpose. Saying a $200 phone (of this calibre) is shit is not understanding relative value

              • @gimme: Oh I understand relative value, that's why I said you're better off spending a little more for the G84 and not just simply "this is a shit phone". If you're happy with it, then I'm happy for you πŸ™‚

                • @1r4n14n: So in your opinion paying 50% more equates to at least a 50% improvement? (Based on chipset?)

                  Any opinion on the Snapdragon 480+ ? For roughly same price.

                  @1r4n14n:

                  Oh I understand relative value,…….

                  It's pretty clear you don't - in this case at least.

                  • @jackspratt: What's clear is that I don't waste money on inferior chipsets.

                      @1r4n14n: If you're happy with it, then I'm happy for you πŸ™‚

    • 3 negs and not a single person can explain why I'm wrong lol. Pathetic.

      • Didn't neg you but lets see if i can explain the possible reason they negged you.

        Some things are built to a price point. Which this is. Sure it don't have a great soc. But it works to its price point. Oh sure the G82 was $200 but that was a price error. But the dimensity 7020 beats the sd 695 in benchmarks.

      • Why don't you start, and explain why you are right.

        Yes.
