Gigsky gives out US$5 credit when you subscribe to their travel reminder service. Choose a date that lies more than 10 days in the future, as you will receive a reminder 10 days before your trip. Choosing a date within the 10 days timeframe didn't give me an e-mail reminder from Gigsky.
It is enough credit to purchase one of their cheapest plans (EU and UK plans for example). No need to submit payment data if you redeem the coupon for these cheapest plans.
You receive a coupon code when you get the reminder e-mail in your IN-box. So you need to wait some time for receiving your coupon code and be able to use this freebie.
You need to fill in the coupon code when you create a new Gigsky account. I didn't find an option for entering a coupon code after creating the account. I did find out however that you can use the coupon code with any new account on Gigsky. It is not coupled to the email address that you used to sign up to their travel reminder service.
All in all quite some effort to earn US$5 credit, but if you have some time to spare… :-) Best to check if there is a < $5 Gigsky plan that you like before making the effort.
