thank you :) my day is now complete!

        • +3

I said you could have plus. I didn't say anything about allowing an exclamation mark, so chill bruv. .

    • +1

I just sign up for a month when the deal is worth while, and I just got a $9.99/year offer for the first year, so it was worthwhile.

      • Saw the deal as mine just expired. Next screen shows $49. Messaged them to see if I can get the black Friday plus deal

    • Plus'd your comment

  • +1

I got two of these, do I need a third one?

    • +7

      If not installed yet, no

    • Same here, will give it a pass

  • +1

I'm guessing these aren't individually addressable?

    • Correct

      • Fair enough, would be wild if they were for the price.

        • Yeah I wouldn't pay retail prices for them yet unless I saw a crazy deal. I've got a few reels of WS2812Bs to play with in the mean time

          • +2

@cydia9k: Yeah me too. The only nice thing about these packages is the cleaner cabling/power.

  • Was $19 last year, sad times.

    • Inflation

    • yup i just read and cancelled order
      thanks

  • +2

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you want multiple you need to purchase 1 at a time, as the coupon code limits the discount to the 1 lot.

    • +3

also note that the code is limited to 2 or 3 redemptions per account and many items use the same code including the ones dropping on Friday. might have to choose wisely or fire up those dormant accounts

      • +3

        WHATTTT! I didn't know this… Already redeemed 3x.

        You're right. I cannot use BFEX30 anymore….

      • are the ones dropping on Friday going to be on the deals page?

        • yup yup. some really really crazy deals dropping on Friday will require you to be lightning fast ;)

    • +1

Correct. I bought 2 in separate purchases.

  • Looks cool, but where do we usually install this please? We have to get tape seperately to stick them on? Thanks.

    • +1

They have tape on them already.

Installed these across the top of the kids built in wardrobes. Gives a nice soft light in the room that they can adjust themselves.

    • the strips are sticky on the back side

    • From what I've read briefly while it has adhesive on the back it's not too reliable. If your circumstances allow use some loosely attached cable ties to hold it. This will then also allow you to adjust which direction you want the light to go. I'm planning to put mine either under the kitchen cabinets if I can find a way, or under the bed. For under the bed I feel like taping it to the bottom will 1. make it come off easily (because gravity) and 2. make the lighting too harsh. In that case I'll feed the lights through some cable ties under the bed and aim the light strip up toward the actual bed so the bounced light is less harsh.

      • isn't it requires plug in to run is downside….it should be quite limited to places you can use it.

    • do we usually install this please?

I have it at the back of my 75" TV

  • These define your mood, sold

  • But do I need 10m.. haha

    • +2

      Your entire ceiling
      Now 10 isn’t enough

  • Can you connect 20m to one controller

    • Probably. Might need to upgrade the powersupply brick with one that has more amps (same voltage).

      • +1

Unless they're boosted/rectified, voltage drop might mean the LEDs towards the end will be getting noticeably dimmer

  • OOS :(

    • +1

      Looks like back in stock

      • +1

        Yes, funny how that works!

  • Oos

  • Could these work as ambient lighting for overhead kitchen cabinets? Run them where the splashback and underside of the cabinet meet while mounting the switch to the wall 🤔

    • Yep you can set the brightness and colour via an app. Should work fine for that.

  • +1

    back again just bought 1

  • +1

Says can't apply code to order

  • OOS for me

  • Oooooooos

$32 after code from allphone online ebay

  • Those LEDs look about a meter apart.

  • kinda regret getting these. now I have to think about getting the right extrusion diffuser which costs a lot more than these strips

  • Mine has not been shipped yet, anyone else have same issue?
