You need a better website. Horrible experience on mobile firefox.

Thanks for the update we have heard this and this is something we are currently working on at the moment and having a modified more friendly interface

You are doing better than most sellers here who won’t acknowledge something like this.

        So, thanks for that.

Nice lid too, if I didn’t suspect my amazing wife was getting me a bike hat for xmas I would sneaky buy this baby.

tbf their site is no better or worse than most other bike accessories store sites

it seems like they all use the same template

          • @tonyjzx: Most places are on the same platform, this platform was meant to promise the world but last 12 months have really dropped the ball. And frustrating for a lot of us. To the point we are getting a lot of custom stuff built which will take time and a lot of investment but to move forward we feel it is the correct choice and investment.

We want a platform to be very user friendly and super easy to use

Thanks for the comment however we have been around for 15+ years and not trying to ride off anyone.

We are the first and only Australian company to receive FIM approval with our suits as well as MFJ approval in Japan. These are the highest level accreditation you can simply get meaning our suits are approved for use in world events such as MotoGP. We also do a lot of CE certifying with some of our garments which isn’t needed in Australia but we do this and invest to prove the quality of our stuff.

But we thankyou for your input and feedback

I see motorcycle deals, I upvote.

All I see is the 2 recent cases of sockpuppeting which basically means they got caught trying to manipulate the guidelines in order to profit from the community.

I don't think this is what Scotty had in mind when he created this website.

      • +2

I didn’t look far into it, I just like motorbike deals :)

      • Scotty doesn't know..

        So don't tell Scotty!

We are new to this market of OzBargains.

We posted our first deal on social media to let people know we have joined the ozbargain community and anyone a part of it to look out for some great specials.

When we posted we had some accounts like our post, and also some new accounts created and like our post which then lead to us being sockpuppeted. We spoke with the admin team and are more understanding of the rules which we will not be post to social media to stop anything like this happening again.

But we do thankyou for acknowledging this and as I said because we’re new and really like how close the community is here and look out for one another

    I can't believe that LS2 has a $799 helmet!
I bought one years ago and it was 100% rubbish, misleadingly advertised for its exceptional air flow, plenty of air vents BUT no air goes through!
There are air vents but no air at all, the visor fogged even during summer with all air vents opened, as I said 100% rubbish brand when you sell something and cheat on people.
No more LS2 helmets for me!

It’s weird how Shark Leathers are “riding” Shark helmets reputation. Easy to mix them up…

      • +1

I thought the same thing when I first saw them pop up atleast like 15 years ago. They actually apparently do great in-house leather work and repairs from their shop (not sure if still there) in Melbourne CBD, used to be off Elizabeth I think. But I think more like your adv/cruiser style of leathers though. Didn't really fancy much of their sports leather range back in the day.

I was about to say the same thing.. 🤣 I remembered almost 10 years ago a friend picked up a second hand LS2 for decoration for under $50.. 😅 These things were utter GARBAGE. How in the hell are the $799 RRP? Their best helmet had an RRP of like $300 even less than 10 year ago. They're comparable to a K2 or K3.. 🤣 But I'd rather have the reputation of KGV on my head than LSpoo..

  • I am not saying that made in China is bad. But, Chinese companies have a reputation for cutting corners…

Should I trust my life to a Chinese company Motorcycle helmet?

    • Should I trust my life to a Chinese company Motorcycle helmet?

Should you trust your life to a Chinese built motorcycle?
Chinese can make everything you want depending on how much an entrepreneur wants to pay.
But I don't trust Shark helmets, there are old well known helmet brands so why should I buy a trash helmet?

      • +1

        Bro, that's not a Shark helmet.. 🤣

        It's EVEN worse.. 😅

But realistically, Shark helmets (not to be confused with Shark Leathers [I believe a local, mainly leather-working company]) have come a long way in the last decade. A few MotoGP and I assume even more WSBK riders are now sponsored and trust them enough to use their helmets throughout the season.

It sounds like you came here with the LS2 bandwagon.
And like someone already posted above, Shark Scammers is well known here for shockpuppeting.
And regarding the trash helmets, I wouldn't use them even if you buy me one, I would actually sell it.

    • LS2 have been around for a while. They also apparently only meet ECE standards for this helmet. 1400grams isn't too bad for a Carbon helmet.

Also, my first helmet was Chinese, I only bought it because I heard a first hand story of someone getting their head hit/deflected off another riders bike at the front wheel after coming off at 160 at the Island and the helmet not even falling apart and walking away not long after..

If you remember back in the day, there was a little known Youtuber called M13. He was sponsored by them. They were a Taiwanese (this is the key) company called Rhok. They made LIGHT Carbon Fibre helmets back in the day. No idea if they're still around though.

It is not very reassuring that most of their helmet models don't meet European standards…

Either they don't want to sell in Europe. Or, they don't care about rider safety.

        • +1

most of their helmet models don't meet European standards

This brand is a joke if they pretend to list one of their backyard made helmet for $800.

they don't care about rider safety

They lie and they don't even care about their lies.
My LS2 helmet is still in its box and I'm undecided if to sell it for $20 and waste my time or just dump it.
Advertised for its exceptional air flow features, tonnes of fake air vents but there is no air flow at all!
