Just a heads up that some batches of the slim S pen cases have QC issues where the pen spins around in the slot and falls out on their own:

My new case arrived like this, called Samsung Australia and they stated that this is normal and will not honour any refunds or replacements.

I bought the Fold4 version which has this slot that can be swapped for a kickstand as well… I returned it because it rattles all the time.

      These pen cases are terrible…

If you have the time you should bring it up with Fair Trading just so Samsung takes it more seriously.

Probably I would want the phone to also come with it at that price. Have you not heard about AliExpress?

Just a heads up, I was able to get JB to give me this for $79 just by asking for their best price

  • Wish they just make a similar case for Fold 4. Not worth the upgrade to Fold 5 just for the pen really as no major upgrade to be had with 5. If I still was on Fold 3 definitely worth it.

  • i have the same case, bought from Amazon, received day before, no such issue. the pen held in the slot firm and solid, have to press the tap on the top pretty hard to get the pen released from the case.
Saw some videos on Tiktok complaining the issue, but tested my one all around, its perfect.
My one is made in Vietnam…

    • Do you know what to do with the little tool that came with the case? I could not figure out.

Is it a little metal tweezer-type tool? If it is, it's probably the tool you use to replace the S-Pen tip.

        • Thanks. Yea makes sense now.

to replace the tip of SPEN

    • What colour did you get I have had two blue ones and both had this issue.

      • my one is blue..

        • yeah, seems to vary but i think most people got blue and theirs a fault with quite a few of them.
