  • You can buy this kind of tools from Kmart or BigW and you don't need to pay any delivery.
    But seriously stainless steel???
I advise if you're serious about buying a useful multitool for your bike or scooter, you need to spend at least $50-60 for a very basic Cr-V mutlitool.
This cheap thing here might do the job but if you work on a very tight bolt or nut, you'll ruin the hardware.

This is an amateur tool intended to be used occasionally. I very seriously doubt that hardness of steel is going to be an issue. Rust might.

Wera does stainless steel hexes though, this is intended for stainless fasteners (which a lot of cycling fatseners are, and some even softer alloys such as Aluminium and Titanium) to avoid metal contamination.

I would advise against a multitool of this style regardless of the price and quality though if you are serious about your cycling tools.

It'll still snap or deform like a twig once anything more than moderate force is applied.

These cheap tools are just annoying at best, and can break when the one time you actually need them to work well.

I am upgrading my tools to high end ones and love to use nice tools. But this is because I use them almoust daily and know exactly what I want. If a person just wants a multitool for a bike that he hardly uses I think a cheap one is more than enough. I doubt it very much that the bits will become rounded or that it will snap. This is for you, avid weekend park rider who is considering the tool. I would say go for it if you want something to be with you in your travels or in your garage just in case. And an amateur bike mechanic will not even look at this tool and does not need my recommendations anyway.
A note, one should not use anything more than a moderate force on cycling fasteners this size.

    • Pay delivery? Nobody is going to do that.
This is something to put in the saddlebag for emergencies. Or for removing the thru-axle. NOT the workshop.
