30% off Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars $91 (Was $130) + Delivery ($0 C&C/in-Store) @ Myer

70

Chuck Taylors: the shoes that dress a nation.

To most of us, they are a sneaker with a fabric sole attached to a conventional rubber sole. But in the law's eyes, the fact that the Chuck Taylor's soles are over 50 percent felt classifies it as a slipper. The felt soles on the bottoms of the All Stars are a perfect example of "tariff engineering," meaning the outsourced soles are specially designed to fetch a lower US import tax.

Chuck Taylors: the shoes that align with the OzBargain ethos.

On sale at Myer: usually retail $130, 30% off brings them to $91. A good selection of sizes are available too.

You can buy them in-store nationally, but if you buy them online you can stack with cash rewards for an additional 5% off.

I feel that Converse would approve.

FYI this is the "old tech" model

Buy these for squats and deadlifts

Buy the All Star 70 for everything else - they're more comfortable

    • No, buy the Pro… even more comfortable! (especially in suede)

I haven't tried the CX yet, they look good too.

EDIT: Just bought the back CX for $50 from the Hype sale posted below…

      • The pro doesn't come in canvas does it? To me the Pro and CX clearly look different to classic Chucks. Whereas the 70 looks pretty much the same

The Sale section of the Converse AU site always has some good deals too (and some shopback percentage on that as well)

Extra $30 off code on the website at the moment if you spend more than $160

  • No zip up versions available.

  • 130 for a pair of chucks. Man. $50 in 2005.

    • What was your income in 2005 though?

      • Hasn't gone up 160% if that's what you're trying to say?

        • I meant, what is $50 as a percentage of your 2005 income, compared to $130 of today's income.
