Can i stack in store? I don’t want to pay the $5 collect fee

I hate these companies that jacked everything citing inflation and “cost pressures” and then have a substantial discount shortly after.

    • +4

Coles and Woolworths are the worst at doing this, they should be shamed for their pricing practices

$25 off $250 min Spend, $50 off $500 min Spend

I don't know, you may have to tell us this in terms of Laddas you can buy.

    • Idk which city you are, but the Perth store is now extremely easy to access multiple sections of the store and always a pretty streamlined path to the exit from most areas.

Previously it was definitely annoying to navigate.

  • Not sure if stackable with 3% off shopback gift cards (or 4ish% from maxxia)

    • Yes, the discount appears in the total balance to be paid. Then you pay however you like, incl. gift cards.

  • Last offer, received $10 voucher when spend $xxx in IKEA in quarter months. I did spend more than $xxx but not received anything. Tried to contact their customer service, they says they will investigate and get back to me. But no response after that.. hopefully this time work, because it is instant off when purchase..

    • I also didn't receive the voucher, but just used the screenshot from the deal linked in this post for $15 off. This was on the weekend, no issues.

$278 for 2 Symfonisk Bookshelf speakers is awesome.

  • Sweet post!

I just missed out after doing a refresh of some home decor and would recommend to those considering going to check in store for discounts as not all seem to show on the online webpage ie cushion covers I bought 65x65cm for discounted sale at $5 do not show online.

There are also some pretty cool websites such as https://ikeahackers.net/category/hacks and heaps more on Google.

damn, $800 worth purchased last week and this offer comes out now

      Return and earn…

75 bucks is worth the hassle imho

      • +1

I wish but its a wardrobe and other heavy stuff.
Not worth the effort in my case. Almost 4 hours just to assemble.

        • +2

Just go there.. get the stuff .. buy it and head straight to the returns area with your old receipt

          • @hippyhippy: Sounds like about 2h of effort to potentially save $75 and run the risk of being told you aren't eligible…

            • @PhilToinby: What do you mean 2h? U just walk straight into the warehouse area and straight to the returns.. 5 minutes.

              • @hippyhippy: Most people have to drive there! For me it's 20min each way at least.

                • +2

@PhilToinby: 1 hour of your time for 75 bucks is alright to me..

                • +1

@PhilToinby: Please hand over your OzBargain membership card before you log off.

                  • +1

@wisdomtooth: Fair point. If I was to calculate how much money I've 'saved' using ozbargain vs how much time I spend browsing the site, the hourly rate wouldn't look anywhere near as good as getting $75 in <1h!

                    • +3

@PhilToinby: I bought those Lenovo tablets at Aldi for $199. Did I go to the store to get my $50 back when they dropped the price to $149? You bet I did! Will I go again to get the $10 they just dropped down to $149? Course I will! OzBargain all the way, baby! 🤑

  • Geez $89 delivery ….. :(

    • yep, paid the same last week and delivery guy bailed out as he cant carry heavy stuff by himself.
had to rebook and ask them to send two people. Such a waste of time and resources

    • I wanted a floating shelf and it was $150 delivery. Reconsidering my options now.

are you sure this can be stacked with with the current IKEA Family Members $15 off $50 spend deal?

as per T&C 10. Only one offer a time: The Promotion is not available in conjunction with any other special, discount, promotional offer or IKEA Family or IKEA for Business member offers unless otherwise stated.

    • Correct,
      i dont think so

    • +5

i was able to stack the discounts. the $25 discount appears automatically when you have added $250 to the cart. the promo code is entered separately

      • A loophole — a beautiful loophole! — it seems. Behold the loophole, marvel in its beauty!

  • Absolutely spitting, bought a cabinet for $300 not two days ago from the Rhodes centre… That'll teach me to not wait until an ozbargain notif

  • +1

ShopBack have a promotion on their Ikea gift cards via their app: 4% (usually 3%). This offer expires at midnight Sat. 8/4/23.
    https://www.shopback.com.au/product/search/ikea
It takes ~48 hours for the gift cards to validate so it might be wise to "Check the balance of your gift card" first so you don't waste time going into the store with inactive cards:
    https://www.ikea.com/au/en/customer-service/ikea-gift-cards-…
If your error message is "Please enter a valid card/pin number" then your gift card hasn't been validated yet (if you've entered the correct no's, that is; copy and paste is best for the 19-digit no.).

  • have a 4k purchase needed at Ikea. any discounted giftcards to get. I understand shopback has 3% off.
If anyone can help with better option. that would be a great help

    • Bupa LifeRewards have 5% discount on ikea giftcards.

If you can only claim this once per day… could I do 2 orders over 2 days; but as click and collect on the same day? (And stack the $15 off with each order)

    • +1

Seems to have worked… got both for click & collect tomorrow… so we’ll see if they say anything 😂

    • Thought about doing the same :)

      • +1

Picked both up today no issues… if the things I bought are decent enough, I’ll be doing a 3rd order 😂

  • Reminder that this ends tomorrow…

I’m doing an extra purchase now & just tried doing 2x $250 back transactions back to back online for click and collect… it’s applying the $25 for both transactions (and the extra $15 via code)…

Got a 3rd transaction to do too… but might wait until tomorrow for that one just incase haha
