During Boxing Day, I got the QN95B 75" for under $2700.

Samsung store had the QN95B on sale for $4000 (down from $5500). If you write to their chat support, they also offer you 30% off if you have another Samsung product. I didnt have one, but I just got my friend to screenshot his Samsung phone's serial number. Then got an additional 4.5% off with ShopBack.

TV was delivered yesterday. Haven't opened it yet as we are still painting the house but can't wait to turn it on.

    • Yep this is how i got my QN85B for $2200

    • Where did you purchase your QN95B 75" for under $2700? Could you please let me know? Direct from Samsung or other retailer?

      • Direct from Samsung via their online store

        • How did you approach them in chat? Just ask what deal they can do or mention the 30% off?

          • +1

@Fordog: I just said that I was interested in that specific tv and they immediately asked me if I had any other Samsung products. I said yes, and they offered the deal to me. It was super easy. They referred to it as the “loyalty discount”.

If they don’t offer, just ask for it :)

        • Thank you for the update.

If You can still get the 30% vouchers off Samsung direct you can snag one for $2309

I used live chat to get one, they asked for picture of serial from back of my existing Samsung tv

    • Great price mate. How much was delivery?

      • +1

Free, but took 2 weeks from purchase and im regional NSW

    • If you call them for the voucher you might not need a serial number. I called them and they never asked for a serial number.

    • Is it 30%? I thought they only give 15% off if you have another Samsung product. Thats huge

    • Was this specifically for LCD TVs, or are you suggesting something like the 55" S95B could have been had for $1400?

    • +1

I can confirm this works. Ordered one the other day from Samsung. Came to $2,309.30 delivered.

    • So you just ask support for a 30% discount becuase you already own a samsung product??

      • +1

Go to the sales support online chat and ask for a loyalty discount. They'll ask for a picture of the S/N of your existing Samsung TV.

        • Perfect thanks, just ordered using my fridge S/N - $2309 delivered

  • I got the 65' qn90b during black Friday with 30% discount code for 2099 minus 50 Cashback.
Screen is very nice crystal clear. I can still see reflection of my windows in the tv screen.
Tv Menu system is good easy setup. Tv guide is good. No jitter on hd sports. Good picture quality

      I got the 65' qn90b

I didn't knew Samsung made 65 feet TVs. Guess I'm not keeping up with the new technology.

  • Is this TV technically OLED?

    • +4

No. Youre probably thinking of the S95B which is QD OLED. This is just LED. Samsung marketing has used QLED to try and confuse people for a few years lol

      • Yes I have had a couple of people tell me QLED is OLED and have had to correct them.

Thanks for clarification will keep eye out for QD specials

        • +2

This is mini LED though, which is a step up from normal LED TVs and pretty close to OLED. These are also brighter than OLED, so more suited for a bright room. But OLED is still better in a dark room.

If you're buying for picture quality and not the OS then there are better options available for cheaper. For eg: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/hisense/u8h
Found for around $2500 or less. Longer warranty on the Hisense model too.
Here you can see a good comparison to a Samsung qn900b which is a similar model to this one and it gets beaten by the Hisense: https://youtu.be/_Z8L5g_R7II?t=633

Not touching samsung till they admit they wrong on the whole dolby vision front

All 3 major streaming services, now use dolby vision,Face it samsung no one wants ur crappy spec

    • Don't understand why this was downvoted. Dolby Vision is the best HDR format - ridiculous Samsung won't support it (ie pay a few dollars per TV)

    Not oled but still 3k

  • Hi,
Does the samsung 30% off loyalty voucher come off the already discound price or the RRP on the samsung website?

    • 30% loyalty voucher comes off the discounted price. (ie RRP $4,499, less $1,200 discount = $3,299, less 30% loyatty. = total $2,309.30) Total Savings $2,189.70
