Going by their performance over the last couple of years, I'd be adding at least another week to whatever date they publish as their "cutoff".

    • You don't have to. This year we are delivering right up to Christmas (including Christmas Eve, which is a Saturday). As long as you post before these dates, it'll ensure that we have the best opportunity to deliver it to its right destination before Christmas!

        Okay, I believe you… NOT!

AP can't even guarantee their own "Next Day Guarantee".

Our Next Business Day Guarantee has been suspended since March 2020.
Express Post remains our fastest postal service.
This change is necessary due to:

          • COVID-19 health and safety regulations applying to workplaces
          • Fewer passenger flights (which we usually rely upon to carry many of our parcels)
          • Ongoing COVID-19 disruptions

We’ll reinstate our next-business-day guarantee as soon as we can.

@HamBoi69: Holy cow, still using covid as an excuse! Weird that none of the other couriers have any issues.

Increased prices, reduced services, it's the auspost way.

I know they've "suspended" their express post guarantee.

My point is, they can't even get their act together on their everyday products, what chance do they have in getting shit done properly for Christmas?

  • Yeah, to hell with the legislated performance standards…coz…”we try our best”
