Hi Guys,
I need to buy a colleague a couple of 27" 4k Monitors for his setup.
He is using a Macbook Pro so I'll need at least 1 USB C monitor as he is connecting into a WD22TB4.
Need your help to determine the best option.
I'm planning on purchasing these monitors and testing them before giving them to him.
Once we've figured out the quirks we'll contact the manufacturer, get a good buy price and do a OzB deal.
Please feel free to suggest any other models.

Text is MUCH clearer on a 4k monitor than the same size 1080p monitor. No comparison. Given the price I have no idea why anyone would be using a low DPI monitor these days.
1080p is awful and outdated in 2022. 1440p is still sharp at 27" size though.
I agree, If I need to run 3 monitors I run the 3rd as 1080p, big difference compared to the other 4k monitors.
I've tried a few monitors for office work on Macbook Pro before settling down on Dell S2722QC. Fantastic monitor, great picture quality on Mac, and you can find it quite often on specials.
Whats a good price ie common/lowish ??

Very good pricing on a good monitor, only around $100 more than the S27S21QS.
I'm leaning towards testing 1x S27S21QS/S2722QC and 1x U2723QE. I'm interested to see if the extra dollars for the U2723QE result in a much better experience.
“Best” for what use? Standard Outlook and Word don’t need a 4K monitor. Are they graphic design? Video editing?
Have you compared specs to see the key differences and considered which are important to the colleague?
