        $19 + $20 steam deal!

        • $14 + $20 Steam Wallet if you manage to pricematch with JB for $44 (I did) and used the $10 perks (I didn't because reasons lol)

Snagged two which are now sitting on my desk collecting dust and judging me.

        • Have you received the Steam wallet voucher from Samsung yet?

          • +1

@mad__llama: No not yet, but on the website it says it has approved so it's just matter of days of receiving it.

            • @timliu1996: Ok thanks, I went through some drama to finally get it approved but hadn't heard anything back yet.

          • +1

@mad__llama: Nope but my steam voucher for a 980pro I purchased took around 4 weeks to arrive, guessing this will be the same.

    • Yep, I swooped the max 3 clangers allowed.

  • Grabbed one from the $44 deal, but couldn’t get the fingerprint feature to work on my ipad, the drive didn’t appear unless I turned off the finger print on the ssd. However, fingerprint works fine on pc though.

Adam's review on The Good Guys product page:

"I did have a problem with the software that came with the SSD for my MacBook Pro M1 2020, where the drive was not being recognised, and I had to download the activation software for Mac at the following link on the Samsung website to allow for the fingerprint security to work: https://www.samsung.com/au/support/model/MU-PC2T0S/WW/."

      "Samsung, you've done it again!"

    • It works fine with my laptop and phone.

It absolutely does not work with my TV. Which is basically the main reason I got it.

Lowest price ever on Amazon AU, over $100 cheaper than Officeworks and $50 cheaper than HN’s sale price.

(Can get T5 or non-touch versions at or below this price)

  • price beat at officeworks?

    • Yes you can, but you need to add delivery costs too

    • The non touch version is $158 at officeworks.

You could match the T7 Touch and get it cheaper.

  • I use these as my Photos backup on my macbook air. I have been using a 500GB drive, so been looking for the upgrade to 1TB.

  • Amazon OOS.

  • +1

    Amazon sold 0ut?

    • They still got T7 at $158, but without the touch sensor

      • What’s this touch sensor for/do?

        • Security, So in case you lost the SSD other people won't be able to access all your personal data.

          • @aussie28: So every time you connect the HDD you always have to thumbprint to access the files?

            • @prankster: its weird because it actually loads a small "read-only" section first, and when you scan your fingerprint it reloads the whole drive again.
I think this is what is messing up my LG TV from loading the content.

  • Thanks! Got one. Delivery $5 for NSW 2145
