I instantly read OLED and got excited 😅

The FO48U OLED is also pretty cheap at $1099

      • Link plz
Edit found it and bought, hope it’s good for ps5 and Xbox

      • So freaking tempting!!

    • Ditto this!

    • We found that the response times are much slower at a lower brightness

Read the fine print here (and check the link provided in that section).

  • I was about to post this. It’s the same price at Umart, PLE, and PCByte too. Not sure why they are discounted this much today.

    • lack of sales mebbe?

      • Maybe clearance?

I think very few people want a 43 inch PC monitor.

if multiple retailers, it's prob on clearance from GB/distributor.

At full price this one is hard to justify with the 42" LG C2 on the way.

    I have this monitor.
    Love it.
Works fantastic with my XSX, PS5, PC (w RTX 3080) and MacBook Pro through USB C.

Highly recommend it at this price.

    • +1 I have one in my game room, wanted the 48" but unfortunately couldn't fit the space, but this is a great screen… not perfect mind you, I have some really funky audio issues with it and can sometimes notice the sides are brighter than the middle (theres a term for this but it escapes me at the moment), but it typically depends on the scene being displayed… i use it with my ps5, xsx, switch, mister, retrotink5x (and a bunch of old consoles) and pc and it all looks pretty great on it

    • how do you find the lag/response time that's mention in the review (link) above?
I'm thinking console/pc and tv for this.

      • I don’t notice it.
I play a lot of rocket league on Xbox and Pc.
I used to notice it with my older monitor, but with this - plays fantastic.

My only issue with it is the speakers on it are way too loud. Even at 1. But if you want loud speakers, it’s great!

I've got one that I've been using with my PC/PS5/Switch, you've just gotta drive it at higher than 60hz to avoid the response time issues, it's got 2xhdmi 2.1 so will be able to run at 120hz for the latest xbox/ps5. The switch is still 60hz and the slower response time isn't really noticeable but that's largely in part due to the games on the system. That said playing the switch ver of Taiko No Tatsujin and the each of the beats had very visible trails.

The input lag is on the slower side but it's still low enough to not be a huge issue IMO, especially for consoles. Would only be worried if you're playing hyper competitive games.

    • I have this monitor also with a 3080Ti and on my Series X, absolutely amazing monitor and gaming on it is fantastic. I don't even notice the lag to be honest, might just be me though.

How is the text clarity? I've heard the BGR pixel layout makes for poor text clarity.
