      The i5r is a big step up in size, weight, and cost from the i3E. The charging is also built into the (odd 2.4V proprietary) battery.

      Since it's probably just an i5T with a different battery I'm sure it's great, it's just in a different size class.

    Each time I go to buy something, i'm disgusted at how bad the website is and then can't be bothered finalising the purchase. I try to compare the flashlights and get frustrated from the attempt.

    Probably why some people need to ask the rep which flashlight to buy in the comments above.

    I think these guys got hammered with the orders. I placed the order on Monday and did not receive any update so far so contacted the rep here and I was told to contact the customer service and I've received below:

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    During this sale, we advertised dispatch would take up to 14 Business Days, we are unable to give you a specific ETA for your order.

    Once your order is packed and sent, tracking info will be automatically sent to your order email - Please keep in mind Auspost has delays across their network at the moment so don't be surprised if your order takes a little longer than usual, or if your tracking doesn't have as many scans as usual.

      Mine was fine and order from 26th was shipped and with Aust Post on 28th. My guess it will sit alongside my other items from Aust Post waiting for delivery.Aust Post is my issue, not the suppliers. I am in Inner West Syd.

        Yea, that's different. I understand Auspost side of delays. I was referring to the "14 day Dispatch" time by the seller here.

          My comment was noting that mine shipped within two days and more a general FYI. . No doubt they will have a lot of orders so might be a case of luck of the draw in how quick they process them. No idea about the 14 day bit……

      Not unusual and happens all the time to me these days. Does the tracking still say out for delivery OR delivered? Chances are driver had too much on-board so might end up being tomorrow.

            Something strange happened with Aust.Post. Maybe they were trying to fudge quotas.
            I received the tan colour.
            They're both pretty nice, and while not quite as bright as my Nitecore Tiki, I'm switching.
            The I1R2 is a cooler beam, but i like the form factor and the two level brightness.
            Will see how battery life goes.

    Received mine today after a looooong wait but really happy with both the flash lights, i1R2 is even more impressive in person and really good build quality of both. I'm a fan of Olight now, will definitely buy from them again!
