Definitely a pricing error as 4 x black is $572
Anyway let's see how this goes! 🥳🎄🎁

    • +3

Definitely. Worth a punt though :)

  • I was about to order it today morning, but then thought they might cancel the order or charge me full amount.
Any chance they would full charge for 4 units?

    • +5

They can’t. The shopify transaction would be for $52 plus $15 shipping. Legally they can’t charge more than what’s displayed

(good chance they’ll cancel the orders though once they realise the mistake)

    • I paid with Paypal and they charged $67 inc delivery

      • +1

Let’s see if they cancel all orders !!

        • -5

LOL Telstra just cancelled my JBL earphone deal 179 points … now this :D
Bad things happened to good people !! :D

  • Rolling

  • +1

Just bought it….don’t know why !!

  • Yep, I ordered x4 for $67. Thanks OP for posting - obviously a pricing error but even if they send one for that price it’s a deal.

  • +1

Let’s see how this goes…. someone forgot to add the 7 when they set the price I think.

  • +2

    Fixed

  • +1

    Looks like they fixed it

  • +4

Price updated. Now $452 + delivery.

  • +2

    Price error fixed

  • They fixed it. Shows up as $452

  • Looks like they fixed it now

  • $452 now.

  • awesome. thanks. bought "some".

    • Haha. I noticed you could buy any amount over 4 for $13 each ;)

      • the killer of this deal is 15$ shipping fee.
        LOL …

        • Hardly. $67 for 4 units is amazing! In fact you could’ve ordered 10 for $145!!

  • Coming up as $452 now?

  • damn it, went to cart and was just about to press pay when I noticed it became 452…..

  • They fixed it. I was gonna to order, and it shows as $52, but revert back to $452 when I am ready to pay. And now the price is fixed. I guess I was 20 seconds too late…

    • They will cancel it anyway so no need to regret

  • They caught it pretty quick, hopefully that means they'll honour the few that managed to order at the lower price, almost no chance if they got fully 'ozbargained' lol

  • Thanks OP, managed to buy a 4 pack using Apple Pay. Fingers crossed they honour the pricing error!

    • -2

did you stack it with ZIP/ApplePay?

      • Man, that would have been smart. Was moving too fast to think of doing that lol

      • +1

Zip on apple pay does not get the 10% off
you need to Tap and Pay to get the 10% off

        Found this out first hand

        • -1

No .. 10% confirmed. Myself and many other posts.

          • +2

@FromAtoZ: it gets reversed by Zip as its not a tap and pay
The Ts and Cs literally say Apple Pay /Google online purchases are excluded 2 weeks ago i did an online purchase using apple pay, it went through and the 10% was in my rewards account. When the transaction processed they reversed the 10% when i asked them why they stated it was becuase i did not tap and pay in store.

    • Keep posted in case you get any cancellation email lol
I’m on same boat - ordered 4 haha

      • Ended up with the cancellation email offer of 1 unit for $67 which I’ve taken them up on. Still a good deal so thanks again OP for the headsup!

        • Same

        • Did you get sensibo delivered, how many one or four?

  • A little christmas cheer coming sensibo's way

  • +1

I got one for free with AGL for being part of their Peak Energy Rewards program.

  • +2

I’ve always wondered when companies catch on to these things relatively quickly, especially on a Saturday night, even more so a Boxing Day night, is it because they legitimately had someone monitoring the random influx of purchases, or because someone from the Ozbargain community is a real poophole and decides to alert said companies!

    • +4

Quite easy to create an alert on any out of ordinary (trend based on data) activity based on sales # per item or in general.. could even have a cost compared to sale price calculated alert that get them online if they selling things below cost .

      • +2

That wording sounded better in my head but you get the idea 😂

        • +2

Oh no doubt, but then again these are the same companies who put a pricing error up for something that retails for 600+ for $52 so youuuu never know ;)

Then there’s the other, other, hand of it all, was it a cheap marketing ploy ;)

          SO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS!

          X-Files: OzBargain Edition

    • +5

Usually someone on ozbargain who can't wait so they end up asking for tracking 5 mins after they ordered… Sigh

      • +1

Hahaha don’t know why someone downvoted you for this, absolutely happens, especially with the recent Telstra JBL Ear Buds

      • You think tracking is individually actioned personally on each request?

  • Oh boi!

  • +3

Why spend tht much whn u can buy similar products for less than $15… Just u need to wait 1 month or so..

AU $11.53 30%OFF | WiFi IR Remote Control 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi Infrared Universal IR Remote Controller For Air Conditioner TV DVD Using Tuya Smart Life APP
    https://a.aliexpress.com/_m0eOZGH

    • I can’t be sure but I think the Sensibo is a little more in depth in terms of being able to have Google Assistant read outs of certain rooms when asking what the temperature is. Obviously for the RRP though is steep, but 4 for $52 is pretty good if anyone’s order gets honoured!

      • Not sure if the Aliexpress one has a temperature senor in it. I have a couple of commercial WiFi to IR bridges and one has a temperature sensor in it. It wasn't particularly accurate. I think this was partly because of where the bridge had to be placed, wasn't a good location for a temperature sensor.

Now I built my own wifi temperature and humidity sensor and a separate IR bridge. The IR bridge was a bit of pain to program. I think it is easier now. I use Node Red to control two air conditioners based on the excess rooftop solar output. Though when it is really hot, I just run it at the temperature I want.

      • I bought 4 and they are working good enough on my Aircon and other IR devices.

    • Thanks! Don't know entirely what that is, but decided I need one!

We'll see how we go in a month or so…

  • Have 5 of these for over a year and paid a helluva lot more than that. It's a great system. Good luck to all who got an order in

  • +6

use code EASTER20 to get $20 off each unit on top of existing discount :)

I got this code via an ad that showed up on my FB account after I had previously checked out their site!

    • +2

Outstanding. Brings the 3 pack down to $279. Not quite as good as the OP's deal, but a great saving nonetheless.

    • Someone should post this as a separate deal. Absolute bargain!

  • nice price!

  • Does anyone know if they work with central aircon? I tried and read it in the description but couldn’t find any info.

    • If you have an IR remote for your air con… it will work

  • I have been using Broadlink for years controlling the aircons, TV's, stereo, fans etc Way cheaper and works perfectly.

    • +1

Broadlink didn't work for me for my fans or aircons

      • Not sure why not, there's templates for thousands of remotes and even if none of those match you can push the buttons on your existing remote and train them just like a generic universal remote.

        • +1

Yeah I tried all that, but I only managed to get limited functionality from my aircon (on and off), and none from my fan. My aircon is a Kelvinator, what are yours?

          • @Zalur: I have two Kelvinator aircons and two broadlinks off eBay.

Working in HomeAssistant and Google Home

          • @Zalur: I had this issue with our Kmart IR blaster. I thought it was a pile of crap until I realised it was an issue with my Samsung S9. The IR built into the phone for face unlock acts as a signal jammer for some things - I can't even use my Hisense TV remote if my phone is facing the TV. So every time I was trying to train the Kmart unit while using my phone, it would block it.

      • I hated the little cylindrical one I bought. We bought the little Kmart IR blaster recently and it works much better. I've got it in our room controlling the portable air conditioner.

The only issue is that it would likely work much better on air conditioners that have remotes displaying the temperature, rather than the ones that just tell the unit to increase/decrease by one degree at a time (which our Kogan one has) This is because the former send the full set of commands for what should be done on the unit when you change a setting (I.e. "hey you, be on 23 with the fan on medium and cooling mode!") whereas the latter just send the command to change that one unit each time. So you can't just pick a temperature without seeing the readout.

  • These are great. Got a freebie a few years back when powercor were handing them out along with $20 incentives to cut down on grid overload and avoiding rolling brownouts.
So handy to ask Google what my temp in the various rooms are then power up the air con 1/2hr before arriving home.

Got an email to receive one for $67 or a refund

  • +5

    Just got the following email:

“ We have caught this error before your order was shipped and as it was our mistake we would like to offer you the following two options:

    1. We would be glad to send you 1 device for the $67 AUD you have already paid. This is more than half the Boxing Day promotional price of $139 AUD per device. Still a great deal!
    2. As we are unable to ship the complete order of 4 devices for the price you have paid, we can offer you a full refund on your order.”

Pretty sweet outcome all things considered. I only needed one more for the house anyway!

    Got offered the same
Good solution - the average Aussie retailer would have just cancelled

  • Impressed by their fair solution to the obvious pricing error.

So much so that, having missed the chance to purchase at the incorrect price, I've now ordered 3 for $339 minus $60 using the EASTER20 code.

Happy to support a seller with a good product and a great approach to customer service.

  • +1

    What a blunder hahaha.

Anyway bought the product with Easter20 code 3 for 279 (92.5 each) which i think is pretty decent.

Good product, UI, App, and in built temperature sensor , scheduling, geofencing

  • +10

Update - just received my order after agreeing to receive just the 1 unit, and they've shipped all 4 to me after all! ☺️✌️

    • Wow. Outstanding service.

I ordered 3 for $279 using the discounted deal plus the EASTER20 code. Am happy to have given them some business - even at over $90 a unit, knowing that they have acted so honourably on this deal. Seem like a decent company that I'm happy to support with a few hard-earned.

Now to plug them in ansd see what they can do…

    • Same!! Got the same number, wonder if the sales team didn't update things for dispatch team LOL
Keen to see if they ask to return hahaha
      Thoughts?

    • I agreed to the 1x unit, the tracking number is not showing up. Was the package sent via Auspost.

      • Toll for me.

        • Many thanks - my item is stuck in HK!

  • I got 4 also haha

    • Same here lols :)

  • Yep, I just received 4 units as well after agreeing to receive one. Incredible!

  • I only got one. Already delivered ages ago. Was actually delivered by an Amazon driver

  • +1

So i sent an email back saying i would take the one.

    1 arrived yesterday
and today…. another parcel arrived containing 4 units.

    so yeah that happened

  • Just received 4… Not sure if I should feel bad about reselling them lol
