1/2 Price RRP Aveeno 1L Range Daily Moisturising Body Wash 1L $11.99, 1/2 Price RRP Olay @ Chemist Warehouse

1010

Chemist warehouse now has a catalogue after not having one for over a week, and the Aveeno 1L range is half price.

I can highly recommend the daily moisturising body wash, it lathers well, has a light pleasant scent and doesn't strip your skin of moisture. Those who prefer no scent may want to check out the Skin Relief Moisturising Body Wash.

Olay range is also half price.

Aveeno 1L daily moisturising body wash and Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturising Lotion are available at Amazon at the same price - might be handy for those who have Prime membership.

Good price, all the cashback sites are down though :(

  • Sad that their baby range is not on discount :(

  • Mostly seen 40% off on 1 litres pack, definitely a good price!

Is Aveeno skin relief body wash better than the dove triple moisture? I have severe dry skin that causes eczema break outs and just bought the dove for 1/2 price but can still return for this.

Yes. Any atopic skin (prone to eczema) should avoid fragranced washes and moisturisers.
I'd also encourage you to speak to a dermatologist.

    • being fragrance-free, yes, but still contains sulphate, unlike DermaVeen Extra Gentle Soap-Free Wash and Ego QV Gentle Wash

I had seriously bad dry, cracking, peeling skin on my hands. Used half a dozen different hand moisturisers that didn’t work. I’ve been using the aveeno body wash in the shower for a couple months and my skin is now perfect. 100% recommend

  • How does this compare to cetaphil and regular sorbolene?

    • really interested in how it compares to cetaphil and QV, prob will have to visit a dermatologist but I might buy some if this is great!

  • Thanks. Plenty of stock at Windsor QLD

  • I've been on QV cream for maybe 10 years now to keep my ezcema under control, and have started using Aveeno creams last year (alternating with QV but not completely replacing it).
Aveeno is equally as good as QV if not better, but definately no worse.

The texture and feel of Aveeno is probably nicer overall but I'm a guy who is not too fussy as long as the cream keeps my eczema at bay.

So if you are using QV cream like me (or Cetaphil) grab a Aveeno now and give it a go. It won't hurt you from my experience and opinion.

  • My skin has been ridiculously dry for the past 2 months, first time in my life, its like sandpaper skin on my shoulders and back, google says its Keratosis pilaris (just nowhere near as bad looking as the google images).
Will this help? There are 4 links of different body washes, are they all pretty much the same?

As someone with keratosis pilaris (probably as bad as the google images) my skin dries easily, and would recommend daily moisturising, but nothing makes it go away… moisturising can help with the redness
Just FYI not all of these are body washes. If you are concerned I would suggest seeing a dermatologist (not a bad idea in any case)

  • Costco is also having a similar deal but in a twin pack costing about $24

  • I am using this and I would say the feeling is different.

You get a little bit of slimy feeling when washing this down, but surely it does not leave my skin as dry as things like Dove.

Maybe that what they meant by not taking your moisture away. A bit weird at first, but quickly get used to it!
