  • Fair enough.

  • Received a similar email from one of the club's I'm apart of however it was pre covid19

  • I wish I had bought more :( They are surprisingly useful.

Oh well, at least they have 10% off Deliveroo?

  • Yeah mine said they will return in July. Weird

    Move to Woolworths I guess

  • Thoughts?

    supply issues I'm guessing.

supply issues of a virtual gift card is what had me curious.
Supply of what exactly? They don't physically exist.

judging by the lack of in store specials i'll go with the supply of discounts has ran out.

  • Same with RACQ (uses the same supplier/rewards system) so it is probably just out of stock.

  • Anyone has troubles scanning e gift card at the check out? I max out the screen brightness but yet struggle to get the scanner to pick the barcode. Prefer WW version in this regard as just type in the numbers on the keypad.

    • It can be difficult, but printed versions work better.

Depends on the scanner IMO. And a bit of luck. I've found holding it further away usually helps.

Use the flybuys scanner mounted next to the eftpos machine. Someone may or may not have ripped the label off it but it's just a grey box. It's got an optical reader in it, not just laser so it'll work for phone screens.

Coles is just making too much money…they don't care about giving discount cards or specials any more…

  • +1

You can buy them giftcard.com.au for full price which is Suncorp Benefits and RACQ supplier. So they are not out of stock just the discount must of been take away either by giftcard.com.au or Coles.

Coles has little reason to offer incentives to shop there at the moment as business is booming. This won't always be the case. Everyone can make their own decision whether to shop there now or in the future. I tend to remember the way businesses behave in unusual times and it impacts whether I give them my business subsequently.

    This
I wish more people were thinking like that!
Coles don't care about customers when they are making hips of money…customers should not care about them when things go back to normal

  • Still can find it on AGL reward, 4% only though plus percentage charge applied if paid by CC =(

  • Any other avenues other than AGL to get discounted gc?

  • +1

HCF, NIB, Ambassador has them at 3% off (after a 1% credit card surcharge)

  • +2

Cole eGC back on Suncorp with 3% off.

    • Excellent news. 3% off is better than paying full price.

      • It looks like Coles forced Suncorp to lower the discount of Wollies eGC to 3% (effective on 19th) there in order to be available.

        • As long as we can still get them on Cashrewards for 5% and use Amex.

        • That's not true.
          Woolworths matches them
