This is not a bargain, also, some sellers are raising prices after the fact because of obvious demand.

    • Yes it does seem quite expensive considering i bought the previous 2017 release with remote and game pad for less than this. But keeping in mind this is a brand new release so you always get shafted on price with that.

Absolutely it's expensive, and many reviewers questioned the validity of paying the full price of the 2017 model, only really recommending it when it was on sale.

When people sit back and realise it's a $349 media player (without controller), it's horrendously priced compared to say current gaming systems when you factor in the hardware inside (2015 tech without SD input…)

Having said that, it's great, no doubt, I had 2 of the 2017 models back in the day, only one now. But we have an unfortunate lack of competition in the high end android TV boxes so Nvidia can get away with it…. sounding familiar with their high end GPUs…

          problem is plex
nvidia is the only box that is a mostly smooth process, full sound
i have xbox one X and S with endless plex buffering and oled tv where app does same thign and its a plex issue and microsoft issue blocking plex with 4k HDR buffering or something of that nature

@BuDWiZe: Agree, that was a big part of me still having one (on an LG OLED as their app support is rubbish in comparison IMO).

It's just a shame they don't have great competition in this market.

  • its back to $369 for me

That's funny. They saw a sudden surge of sales and what happens, they jacked the price.

    • Competitors did too. Figured why undercut and sell at rrp….

  • 349 is the Nvidia recommend price

  • god dammit these all sell out everywhere already

  • Jacked up to $379. Gee they are really taking advantage of this stock shortage. Who the heck would pay that much any how. I mean you can buy an Xbox One S for less and that does 4K media probably even as good.

    • It's not I'd you use Plex and do 4k HDR or if you want Atmos ect but for other stuff Xbox is fine

  • For anyone still looking for the Pro… https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/233514916894 (From Futu Online)

Whilst the price has gone up (no idea if jacking or just a reflection of AUD market) , after applying PMID20 as code - it comes down to $360 delivered.
