  It may look dumb, but you are not paying more for the marked down bottles than you are the non-marked down.

  The quick sale prices are based on % off of the current price (Which is $1.25), not what's printed, which would have been based on when they were full price.

  So the markdown was printed before the specials changed over. If you take that $1.53 (40% off) it will scan at 75c, not $1.53 even though that's what it says on the sticker.

  But do keep in mind, they are marked down because they are very close to the BB date.

    Cheers for the tip.. interesting they would still take 40% off current promo price.

    Having said that, at that price you could just go the genetic Coles brand. Pretty much, much of a muchness for bubbly water.

    Still find it odd that it has a BB. Then again wonders will never cease in the great nanny state of Victoria.

      even toothpaste, bleach and cleaning agents have a use by date believe it or not. So yeah, so does bottled water.

      The quick sale discount has to apply even when it's on special or no one would take the one that's close to the BB date.
