Hi Guy, I am interested in a phone but since these sites all charge GST for the government, I was wondering if anyone has tried and can confirm or deny that TRS is possible with this kind of purchase?
GST was paid, but I am going overseas so can take it out of the country.

Do you have a tax invoice with ABN and GST?
I have NOT yet purchased.
They collect GST - from an older invoice from them i didn't see any mention of GST - can anyone else check?
They use ARN (offshore entity version of ABN) - hence my question - is ARN valid like a ABN - I am inclined to think they are not.
The support team from Gearbest has advised the invoice does show GST, however does NOT show the company's ABN or ARN.
So it's a no go.
If you have a tax invoice with an ABN on it from the purchase, and it has the GST amount, then yes, I don't see why not.
