Better to cut out the middle man and throw them straight into landfill.
DO. NOT. BUY. EXTRA. HEAVY. DUTY. BATTERIES.

yes I remember when someone gave my kids a prezzy that required 8 x AA, so they bought them a pack of these to go with it.

I laughed and said once they run out, that's it, they don't get replaced. They lasted a few hours.
The giver called me a TA, which amused me.

This is the old type zinc chloride. Don’t buy. It’s as old and outdated as everything at Kodak

  • I bought a pack of these and they suck

    • If they weren't such low value I'd say take them back for a refund on account of 'not fit for purpose.'

  • +1

Fail - if buying disposable buy Alkaline at a minimum.

  • We only buy eneloops here at ozbargain. It is sacrilege to promote other batteries :P

Speaking of which, where the hell are the eneloop bargains on ozbargain these days? We use to have at least 1 a month.

    • +2

Dick smith used to have the best eneloop deals but since they closed down we don't get very many deals any more.

    • Yes but if you have none ready to go… disposable will have to do in a pinch.

    • More like one a week!

  • Dupe?

I just got these for $2. Remind me of the "Heavy Duty" 50pk I got from the post office - I've already gone through most of those batteries!

  • Sadly, They aren't the best!

  • i fart more power than these. i bought them last time for $2 and they were crap

  • Kodak still big down in Tassie

  • If you had to choose the current best option for the environment which one would it be?

    • Rechargeable, or at least the 'alternative' of this deal.
