  • price would be good bruh

    • Sorry, edit did not take, updating now!

  • Thanks to whoever updated my title! My final edit did not save.

  • Good price for a Full Array Samsung QLED

  • Between QLED vs OLED vs 4K HD, where does QLED stand?

QLED is the best LED tech you can buy. The reason I'm going for this year's QLED is that there is no risk of burn-in, it gets brighter as I have a bright room, and it has freesync tech for gaming. The picture on a OLED is superior though. It depends on your use case.

I've got the Q8FN 55" and couldn't be happier with my purchase. Not a fan of the one connect box. What are you gonna do IF the box malfunctions? Anyway, great TV!

  • Whilst these are full array, I don’t believe they have the One Connect box like the Q7 or Q9 models. Would be a deal breaker for me, great price though

    • true, hence waiting for Q9

I got the Q6 from good guys for $2277 last week on VIP night. Like the Q8 it doesn’t have the breakout box so can be wall mounted. I deliberately avoided the Q7 for this reason as that box is a kid magnet.

      • The advantage is that you don't have to have all your cables going up the wall connecting to your TV, instead the connect box can be placed nearer to your gadgets and all the cable go onto it and one single cable up to the TV. Agree with small kids it could be an issue but it comes with a 5m cable or you can get a 15m as well,( i think) to put it somwhere out of their reach.

  • i'd say the x90f is the better choice purely because it supports dolby vision and probably has more dimming zones
and Q9F of course is ridiculously overpriced

    • One thing I was shocked by is the amount of power the x90f consumes, its 30% more than the Samsung. The Samsung qleds and NU8000 TVs also gave lower latency for gaming and free sync 2 support. And the Sony’s android interface is NAF.

But I guess if picture quality is your only concern go SONY, if you manage to find a good sale.

  • bought q7fn for almost the same price for TGG ebay, is it theoretically possible to return that and get this one?

    • +1

If you haven't opened it there shouldn't be any issues. It's worth noting though that refunds from eBay are processed through head office and can take a while (up to 10 days) to come through.

      • alright, thanks. Q7FN has dropped to $2156 and I bought it for $2995 on 25th November. Does ebay offer anything in this case?

        • I’m in the same boat but I purchased through appliance central eBay for $2570. I don’t think there is anything I can do unfortunately

I’d contact them yummycoot.. they do have a refund 110% of the difference if price drops below what you paid within 30 days. Worth a try anyway.

    • TGG said that it does not include themselves in the 30 day price beat guarantee.

If you're lucky enough to have bought it on an ANZ platinum or black credit card, they offer reimbursement of the difference if within 21 days of purchase. Check their T&C's. I just did this on a new cooktop for our kitchen. Was approved inside 24hrs.
