XYZ Da Vinci MINIMAKER 3D Printer $250 @ Australian Geographic

60

I was randomly looking at 3D printers and found this deal. Officeworks has it for $448 and I was able to price match and price beat for 5%. Tried to get two but they wouldnt let me.

Seems pretty cool.

Might be worth noting that da Vinci printers use proprietary filament which is roughly double the price of the stuff that comes up on here

    • Thanks :) was in the review anyway, but I updated the post to include this information.

    • What’s proprietary about it? Is it a nonstandard gauge?

    • May I know how much the filament is?

  • 150mm x 150mm x 150mm …. if i didn't get the cocoon create touch i'd jump on it … now need something bigger … BIGGER !

With all those colours it looks like 'Babies first 3D printer'

    • Maybe they printed the printer on a 3D printer?

  • Can anyone with a 3D printer comment on how having one has changed his/her life? Genuinely curious.

Only good for creating more landfill as mistakes one make the way to the rubbish bin
