      • how to choose color ?

it seems the photos got black pink white but no option to select

edit: ok just saw - color = random

        hope i don't get pink!!!!

You shall ride eternal. Shiny, and chrome.

    • The white one is tiny small and weak. You know the black one is just thicker bigger and more durable.

      • +2

Once you go black you never go back.

    • I just noticed that down on their page and another difference is that the white one looks like a 4-pin one. May make the difference for some people.

  • You are paying for what you get.

yes, that is generally how transactions work

Homer mind: Money can be exchanged for goods and services.

    • More precisely, “You are paying for what you hope you get.”

  • totes need one. amazeballs. chur op

  • Why not mention as 1 meter?

    • +8

Because it would be spelled metre

      • Is the past tense of spell "spelt" or "spelled"?

        • +1

          Both are acceptable forms.

Spelled is more conventional in the US.
Spelt is more conventional in the UK.

Australia? We don't care about such nuances..

        • Is the past tense of spell "spelt"

          https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spelt

        • @jv:
          Proper nouns don’t have tense.

        • @AlexF:

          Proper nouns

These are all Common nouns, so it's fine.

    • I'm thinking why not just "aux" cable, as they are commonly known? Are they not?

      • It depends if they are supplementary or "auxiliary" to other connections you may have.

        • What's a supplementary cable?

When I google it, it's asking if I meant "supplementary table" lol

        • +3

@illumination: No such thing, but an "aux cable" is short for auxiliary which means supplementary… so it doesn't describe what type of cable it is in terms of the size of the plug or socket, and whether it is stereo or mono. So 3.5mm male to male stereo cable is much more descriptive (and precise) than "aux cable".

        • @snapper:

I believed your previous comment for a second until I googled it :P

But that makes a lot of sense. Good explanation.

Then does that mean calling this cable an "aux" cable is not specific and could mean any cable that is used as an accessory to something?!

        • @illumination: Thanks. Yes I would say "aux" is a generic term and not specific. For example, to connect an ipod/phone/similar to some/most mixers you need a 3.5mm plug at one end and 2 RCA plugs at the other end. This could still be called an "aux" cable.

  • Do I need it? No! Do I want it? Hell yes!

  • +1

Why couldn't it be male to female, which is what I actually need :(

    • I just bought a bunch of F-F connectors of AliEx one time and they've come in handy for things like this.

  • +1

Male to Male… touching tips, or just measuring length?

  • +6

Is this in celebration of Yes vote win?

  • +2

    Well I don't need that.

But having a gift in my mailbox is a good feeling.

    Bought one thanks !

    • Post your address here.

Let's see what we can send to your box from around the Land of Oz.

      • Flood their mailbox with $1 spoons from House deals 🤣

  • All good. 1 per customer

  • Any chance of a 99 cent deal for 20 meter cable? It'd make my stereo home theatre setup a lot simpler.

  • Can Gearbest match this ?

    • I think Zapals is a little bit cheaper, from the previous posts.

  • I paid $1 each for these recently. Good deal.

  • Seems like the code just hit its limit.

    • I just got one…

      • Well when I put it in it tells me it's reached it's limit… I did have an issue with a failed payment though. So I dunno, maybe it's decided I've used it once and I'm out.

        • It'll be sitting in your account "waiting for payment", there'll be an option there somewhere to resume/start the payment process again.

  • Where are the Monster cable deals? I only but the very best.

  • Got on, thanks op

  • It would be great if we could delete our own foolish comments rather than just edit them.

    • +1

You can. You edit them to be empty and the system asks "oh, nothing there, do you want to remove your comment?" And you say "yes".

Or you can report your comment and mods will remove it.

      • Oh. Ok. Thanks for taking the time to educate me :)

A "delete" button just near the "report" link would be more intuitive.
