Free Princess Cake on Your Birthday Month with IKEA Family Membership (Free to Join)

590

Hey guys, I just received an email to get a free princess cake from IKEA for the month of my birthday. No other purchase required. All you need is an IKEA Family Memebership which is free and easy to join. Could go down a treat after some of their $1 hotdogs.

Also noticed it says:
Applicable in ACT, NSW, Qld, Tas & Vic only. For full IKEA FAMILY Terms and Conditions go here.

You may receive a different cake than the one pictured here as your free birthday cake.

    Happy Birthday Mark!

  • It looks like a marshmallow.

    • More importantly, it doesn't look like a princess cake - try green please IKEA! With that colour its more like an operatårta.

    Happy Bday Fiddy :P

  • princess cake? only female members can get the free cake?

You have to print out the free birthday cake email and present it. You can not use your Ikea card or show the email on your phone/device at the point of sale. Unfortunate as this is an easy way for Ikea to be a little bit more 'green'.

    • I just showed it on my phone, no worries !!

Lady at the register was very adamant that I had to have a print out of the email. Said they need a hard copy to keep to reconcile at the end of their shift. In the end she did allow me to claim my 'princess' cake anyway. Just giving a heads up anyway…

Could be worse - they could have stipulated you have to dress up as a princess in order to claim your cake.

  • The cake tastes like… anything but nice/good/delicious! I won't buy it if it were not free.
on a second thought, maybe that's why they give it as bday gift?!

  • Happy Birthday :D

  • You mean it's not delivered to the door?! So myself being a shopaholic, will drive down to the nearest IKEA 15 km away and end up with a bootful of unneeded items just to get a free marshmallow cake. To do or not to do?

  • Is this still running? Haven't gotten an email since 2017, and there's no mention of it on the page anymore.
