Is it safe to purchase from other sellers on Amazon?
I am assuming its a bit like ebay where other sellers are using Amazons market place / website to sell the same products.
I just got it from this seller delivered for AUD 145.09.

I am now worried that at this price it could be fake.
I usually avoid ebay on really cheap products as I assume they are fake.
I have never ordered anything through Amazon before let alone a re seller.
It also worries me that the seller ships from Venezuela.
Does the amazon seller market place get a lot of fakes?
Just wrote a lot, then clicked the link, all writing gone. Long story short, yes fakes can happen, even with new stuff, Amazon AND eBay are both pretty good about fixing things up, though it can take some time (few days to a week?). Just take pictures, Google around for your item (for fakes). Also look on YouTube for sennheiser 598 fake from Amazon, similar situation to what you imagine, he got a fake, contacted amazon, ended up with a real version and got a fake to show off.
