DigitalGamePrices.com - Xbox One Digital Game Price Comparision Website

Moved to Forum: Original Link

X-box One digital game prices from the X-box store differ by country/region and allows you to buy games in a different currency.

The digitalgamesprices.com website shows you the game price currency converted to the cheapest regions so the price is easily comparable (the cheapest price is flagged in green).

nb1 I am not affiliated with this website in any way. I found the website when I realized I could buy a game cheaper just by changing my region and restarting the Xbox.
nb2 Once you have purchased the game, set the region back to Australia (or whatever yours normally is) and play the game as usual.

  • Thanks OP! :)

  • haha good stuff ;D

  • Life is Strange, $12 and change AUD from the Russian store and I almost paid $39 at Big W today… I hear M$ has tightened up on this since Halo Master Chief collection came out though and the only way to really do this is to buy credit in your chosen currency… Anyone had any experience in this?

    • Yep - I've found the method that works is to buy gift cards in the Microsoft Store (not xbox store) of the given country, then redeem them on the Xbox.

It's worked for me for purchases from Singapore and Canada. Only problem is you may have leftover credit which is only in that currency, depending on the gift card amount you buy.

(e.g. game is $25 CAD - you buy a $20 CAD card and a $10 CAD card you have $5 CAD left over that you can only use in that store). Regardless, it's still cheaper than the astronomical prices they charge on the AUD store.

I did read some people have had issues with Russian codes, so do a bit of looking around first. I suggest checking the whirlpool forums.

  • If I buy a game ffrom Russia or Brazil am I going to end up with a game that's not in English? How does that work?

    • +1
