True. There are some Australian popular brands as well as some other not so familiar ones, such as Storm, which I tried, indeed not impressive. Albeit it claims with 5% alcohol.
I bought some of these earlier in the week for $30 using Click and Collect but haven't collected yet. Should I be able to "return" them at $30 and re-purchase at $19.90? Worth a crack I guess.

I am still waiting for my ginger beer to arrive in store which was orderd 2 weeks ago and I received an email and SMS that it was ready to pick up the same day of order. Took a 7km drive and nothing was there ready to pick up and still waiting.
Yeah just picked up one of these. Delivery definitely disappears at the end for metro addresses. Don't know when it is coming but I live with three other people so it shouldn't be too hard. Nice drop to have around between other beers it seems. Thanks for the heads up OP.

Grabbed 3 boxes from South Oakleigh click n collect. Threw 2 in the freezer and just had one. Tastes a little soapy to me, pretty sure it's because I'm a big Guinness drinker and just finished one.

Well I've found some 2.5yr (stout) which was bloody excellent.
But commerical beer? Ive dug out tooheys old (13mth out of date), bitburger it was only 9mths, ummm Coopers mild ale was 7mths.
I buy beer when I visit people, and rellies who dont drink often just store it somewhere & forget it. Who am I to w a te good beer?

Bought 2 cases for pickup from my local store. Got a call from my local store soon after saying they only have 1 case left so I can swap my 2nd case for Cascade Pale Ale or Bright Ale. I chose Bright Ale.
I think the pale tastes better.

Just had a nice tasting with a fresh palate (had a Guinness before my first one last night, not so good), and these beers are a summer treat. They're not skunked at all, and I'm betting a box of them that you won't taste the difference between a 2 week old batch and these. Don't let the short date put you off.
They are clean and bright, with a lemony tasting medium crisp bite to them, finishing with a slightly sweet end.

Yeah I grabbed another 2 cases for C&C with the 6.15% cashback at PricePal.
Just picked up a box. I couldn't find it at first, asked for help saying what I'm looking for and that it was $19.90. They didn't believe me, saying "they have it but it won't be that price." Then we arrived at the display, looked at the large $19.90 tag and he walked off saying nothing.
Turned up to pick my click and collect case at Burwood (NSW) saturday and they had cases of blonde marked down even further to $14.70.
Naturally I wanted the store to price match their online counterparts, so called up and am awaiting credit from DM's online now.

For $14.90 this is a great deal. I spoke to the guy on the phone and was told that legally they can sell these for up to 6 weeks after their best before dates. The reason they don't is purely a DM policy. Might be good to stock up on!

You won't be disappointed. It's been a year since my last Hoegaarden, but from memory this is very similar, just a little heavier.
Not even remotely similar, it's pretty bland and tasteless.
Doesn't surprise me that it hasn't sold at whatever the full price was.
For the price I paid, I certainly can't complain, but it's no Hoegaarden.

Called them up this arvo and they had no local stock so it's coming from Vic. I should see it by the end of this week or monday next week. If not then give them a call back. So in the end we will be approaching 3 weeks for the delivery. Wow.
Just received a call saying that my order was cancelled due to high demand and I'll receive a refund in 3-5 business days. Not happy Dan!
