How much are the Vacuum and Steam Cleaners normally at Aldi ???

      • fyi that was 1.5L with no warranty - this is 4L with 3yr warranty :)

        • This one also has a HEPA filter. edit - no, wait, they both do lol.

I'm planning to buy one and give it a go :) Will report back.

Hopefully they don't fly out the door in five minutes.

        • @waterlogged turnip:
People may not actually want to line-up to buy a bloody vacuum cleaner, but in the case of any number of Aldi products, behaviour that sees gear 'fly out the door' does seem to happen often.

          So…
Get in early if you want one, and you clearly do… which is not surprising given that your motivation must surely be the copious amounts of rodent fur-ap that you have to vacuum off various (other than Aldi) OzBargain purchases - and yourself…

          Ok - there's an image…SHUDDER

          Just kidding…shudder

          Thanks, turnip - I haven't eaten lunch yet…

          Jesus.

        • @Tas: Guilty confession: Only a few months ago, I actually did line up at the Aldi entrance about 30mins before they opened. A few people were ahead of me. Any dignity I had died that day lol.

It too was for a vacuum - but rather, their robot vacuum. I'd read that they sold out within half a day the previous time they'd had it on sale.

(and yes, to pick up rodent fur shudder from underneath furniture with narrow gaps lol )

Though rats don't really moult much at all. My rabbits, on the other hand, create enough fur tumble-weeds on a daily basis that would easily make up another rabbit (and then some)… which is what I'm hoping to use this latest Aldi vac offering for. mmmm 4L tank.

Hopefully you don't have raw turnip for lunch…

        • @Tas: Who negged your post?! lol

Sigh. Humour gets misinterpreted once again around here.

          @waterlogged turnip:
I fear that my references to YouTube in OzBargain comments may have encouraged you further down a dark path than you may otherwise have ventured…

On a lighter note, I quite like the image of you, riding a saddled-rat and surrounded by rabbit-fur tumbleweeds. Kinda cute + a bit 'Wild West'.

Enjoy your exciting adventure to Aldi. If you haven't heard the news, you may encounter some angry Roald Dahl book fans, protesting.
In order to successfully claim your vacuum cleaner, you may have to stare them down.
As only a rat-riding turnip could.

        this one was bad
        bits broke off the wand
lost receipt so could not return it.
take a copy of receipt as it fades

Aldi generally accept returns and refunds even without receipts, as they're products are unique to their store.

If you walk in and are polite about the return, they should honour it for you. Source: personal experience and reading many instances of the same online (mainly for the coffee pod machine).

        • I tried to return a broken coffee machine without a receipt and was refused at 2 stores. Help line also refused me. Thankfully I eventually managed to return the darn thing at a later date with receipt. I agree, copy your receipts. A lot less hassle. @waterlogged turnip:

  • Can anyone comment on the quality of these vacuum cleaners?

  • Vaccuum cleaner, yoghurt, beer….and thus my experiment begins!

    prefer to buy from aldi
no one else will give 60 day money back
    like their ethics
    to customers and suppliers
    unlike the big 2'
who explit customers with price gouging
    and suppliers with price gouging

I've been very happy with my $40 Aldi bagless, only complaint is I need a new HEPA filter and don't know where to get one.

  • Did anyone buy the multi cyclonic vacuum cleaner and has used it yet? How is it?
