  • Thanks! :)

  • Thanks, great find!

  • Thanks mate :)

  • Can't see it

    • It appears in your GOG library after anywhere from an hour or two to a day later based on previous freebie giveaways on GOG.com. They'll email you a confirmation.

  • Thanks tnfl, got it. So all those other greyed out titles that say "coming soon", are they the ones that will become free also? Wouldnt mind Spelunky.

    • I wouldn't mind that either.

    • Ooh err, I just updated the post which basically says we can expect 3 more of these 'today', and so one of the greyed out ones MAY become free but I suspect the giveaway to be a little sooner but you never know.. :P

Yeah, hopefully the rest of the freebies don't appear whilst we are all asleep. snooze…. lose.

  • Thanks !

  • Like, I like this deal like.

  • I scroll down but cannot see this game?

Note: This comes with 4 DLC packs too.

Showed up in my library about 5 minutes after "buying" it. Great find, thanks.

Hmm…so I suppose I should skip sleep for tonight? I've got one thing to do anyway (update the Steam Summer Sale post for day 6 on time).

  • thanks great deal

I really enjoyed the Gangsters strategy franchise and I was really excited when Omerta came out. I got it about a week after release and it did feel like a modern spiritual successor, but the gameplay got old.. fast. I got about half way through the game before not wanting to pick it up again, which was a shame as it had potential.

Can anyone who has tried the DLC comment on how they affect gameplay? I might start playing it again for the DLC.

Shit, I thought I was the only one. I've still got a big box copy of Gangsters.

If you ever want a beer in WA, it's on me brother.

      • Deal, same with you and Melbourne.

      • I liked it too, I loved money laundering more than any other part. Picking legit businesses, like a laundrette, to launder money.

  • Finally!

I ALWAYS miss these good midnight deals, and by luck I checked OzBargain before shutting down pc.
    Yay!

  • thanks just got it

  • Great find thanks!

  • From what I've read its crap, but its free crap. Added to my GoG account. Thanks.

Still Life 2 is now free for 2 hours

  • Did you receive the base game or Omerta gold? I am annoyed that i missed this, especially if it was the Gold Ed.

  • +1

Thaal, this appears to be the base game when I view it in my GoG inventory. Still Life 2 was another that has come and gone 4 hours after the Omerta freebee, so I assume there will be more 2 more chances on giveaways during today.

    • I didn't think they would give the full package away for free, but attempt to cash in on the DLCs for for game, just like the Sniper 2 freebie on Steam 2 weeks or so ago. Still, even without the DLCs, Omerta sounds like a reasonable game for people who like XCom/Jagged Alliance/Silent Storm style turn based combat. Turn based seems to be making a comeback over the last 2 years, after everyone embraced real time strategy and real time RPG fights.

I haven't yet installed the free version I got last night but it is marked on the Omerta Icon as having 4 DLCs included. I have no idea what they are though.

        • I can also confirm the same with Gravy, that this free version does have the 4 DLCs. Omerta Gold seems to continue an additional expansion “The Japanese Incentive“ which is not included in the base install.
