Better check your Ubank accounts if you're expecting the Ultra bonus interest this month.
Any idea why I have just the
Standard variable rate 3.56 %p.a.
Bonus interest rate 0.70 %p.a
this month.
No changes that I know of, and was getting 1.06% in Oct & Nov.
Will transfer to Mebank 4.51% account if Ubank has finished this bonus early??

I just talked with Ubank/Ben for 35mins, who couldn't find or fix the problem.
He first suggested it may be because my Usaver account fell below $0 in November. He couldn't see that had happened.
So here's the interesting bit.
He questioned why my sweeps werent happening? IE why my $500 Ultra account minimum wasn't being replenished each night.
I said I noticed that two months ago and didn't mind.
I said (roughly) in setting up my account initially, I had to chose Min and Max sweep values. When I chose approx $195000 for both, the $500 sweep could only occur when I could fulfil the request fully. So until I had over $195000 deposited, no sweeps would occur. I assumed Ubank left this open purposely, but talking with Ben he had no idea about setting high sweep limits & the effect.
Anyway by Monday they will have investigted the problem and sorted it out if they choose to. But I don't get he Ultra bonus because their system failed HeHeHe.
kick up a stink if they don't sort it out. if you complied with the requirements then you are entitled to the bonus rate, including previous months
