      1-2 mins? Im not quite sure, but I got a feeling it's first come first serve basis. we'll look out for any people who didnt get the free lunch before some successfully gets it, then we'll know it may be random? Hahaha

      I work in QV and I can tell you that even if they postpone your lunch, try going anyways? I spoke to one of the promoters and they are actually short on numbers even many sign up for the free lunch. I guess like airlines company, they overbook the slots to make sure its filled up even half of them dont turn up. Cheers!

    I enjoyed my lunch today courtesy the QV Hotham Lodge - it was terrific. I just happened to be walking by at 12.15pm (unaware of this post).

    In my enthusiasm, fumbling with my phone, as quickly as I could I submitted it as a bargain, & because time was running out for fellow Ozbargainers, didn't check for duplicates as thoroughly as I should have (& always have done) thinking it would have more votes. Anyway, a big thank you to the promoters hospitality & to Ozbargain, especially Neil!

    Yes. They asked me had I received an SMS & I said "no, I was just walking by". They asked me to fill in a form which took 30 seconds & that was it. (Sorry for late reply.)

    When does the SMS line open for the next day and is there a premium charge for texting to that number? The T&C link on their main site is broken.

      T&C: "Free lunch must be redeemed at time and date as per SMS confirmation. Cannot be exchanged for different time and/or date. Cannot be exchanged for other goods or cash. Subject to availability, while stocks last. Standard SMS charges apply."

      As to when it starts, I'm going to try just after midnight! :)

    The free lunch is till Friday 28th June. The vouchers are valid till 30th June.
    If you can't get your hands on the vouchers that are given away in the HOTHAM LODGE @ QV.

    I'm guessing if they put it up online for you to download and view, you can also print and use it in store, IMO.
