Some them here are also still available

Note: All the items may not be available in all the stores. But I guess many of them, at-least under clearance prices.

Edit: as answers to some neg: comments by popular commentators in OZB.
We all know Bunnings doesn't publish many clearance items in their web site. So Bunnings bargains have been attached as photos from in-store @ OZB

But from comments on those post, it's very clear, those were available some stores in Australia wide. Further, some people have experienced with price matching between same state stores(see the comments). Worth to try. Thank you.

  • Well done WNK. Congratulations

You've gone to an incredible amount of trouble with that post, very impressive.

Last time such a listing was made for Bunnings though I discovered that the discounts don't apply to all stores. Most of the items mentioned were 5 times the price at my local store.

    • +3

I admit it will be not in all stores but may be in many, at-least under clearance . And also you can do price match. Worth to check.

From the last post, I have just copied some comments bellow.

      heathsouter on 16/05/2013 - 12:24
the Noarlunga store (SA) had lots of the swann and lcd door viewer thingos drastically reduced.

      bsdll on 09/05/2013 - 21:53
I can confirm the number 11 door handles were in Cannington WA, so I would guess they are Aus wide. I bought one on the weekend, if you're looking for handles, they are really nice.

      corexin on 09/05/2013 - 23:00
bought one simple indoor lock, $5,

      Hi Mate,
Just picked up the Click LCD Digital Door Viewer $ 25 ( Was $ 49 ) for $22.50 Price match

      IndecentExposure on 11/05/2013 - 00:41
Yeah, called up Vermont South, definitely doesn't have it for $25 anymore. It's $29 as of at least 5:15PM.

Went to the Auburn store, price matched the Click Digital Door Viewer for $25

Sorry Geewhizz, forgot to see your profile. A popular commentator in OZB. Wow… 5 badges/10 already by commenting. If your aim is to have an another one from this but please don't mislead the people.
From the last post, many people have grabbed the items for clearance prices from many stores in AUS. Further, some have done the price matching.

      • +4

You've GOT to be kidding, right? And even if I did give a rat's about gaining badges (I can assure you I'm not even vaguely interested,) may I enquire as to how anyone could be mislead by my post?

        Seriously!!!!!!!!

      • +1

mmm, that did seem kinda rude to comment like that….. I have found stuff advertised are not available at all stores and its nice to know if im not wasting my time driving there…..besides that rant thanks for the post anyway….

  • +4

WNK do you have a vested interest in ozbargain?

  • +1

Howdy neighbour :) I guess I'll check it out tonight

  • +18

Got a plus from me not just for the bargains but for the effort youve gone to to share them with us!

  • +5

I must comment that you've really put so much time and effort into most of your bargain posts!!! Just incredible!!
And where do you find them all? Lol
    Thanks so much!

    • I agree. Huge effort. I wonder what the staff were thinking watching him/her taking all these photos.

  • WNK, have you been unofficially hired by Scotty ?

  • Garden pallet picture linked wrongly to garden nelson colour halogen lights.

    • +1

      Thanks. Modified.

  • WOW ! Do you work at Bunnings ?

  • +3

Congrats on the 100 posts mate. Shaky start but some crackers coming through now.

  • +1

Bunnings Lawnton had some of these earlier this week, picked up a bunch of the adhesive hooks for $1.01.

  • Commitment

  • ok for those heater, any of them are safe or recommended to use in the bath room? i mean to put on the floor on bathroom

    • I have one similar (not the same one) to #8 on my bathroom floor. It's a cheap one from either Target or Big W. Works well, been using it for ~4 years.

  • Whoa, awesome effort WNK! Did you hide in Bunnings after closing time to get all that? No wonder you had to post this at 2:35am :P Nice work indeed.

  • THUMP UP

Awesome effort compiling all this, thanks!

  • Bunnings @ Tuggeranong are having a new fit out so there are many items that have been marked down for clearance - no I don't have the time to make a detailed list as WNK (well done I might add) but they are always adding new items as they work their way through the store.

  • Is there anything on that list worth buying even though it's not needed?

  • +1

up vote for the great effort!

  • Thank you so much for the great work

  • -1

Just shows how much mark-up there is, even at this price they'll still be making profit.

  • Can you bargain between stores? I really want that garment rack, but I doubt my store has any clearance items

    • Can you bargain between stores

That's the only thing i'm thinking to do now.

      • +1

I have had things price matched between stores before - worth a try

      • +1

I worked at Bunnings for 3 years, and we wouldnt price match clearence items. They are normally implemented by a regional manager, who is trying to clear inventory at particular stores. Though unlike normal ticket items, you can actually haggle the price, particularly if you're willing to take all the items off their hands.
They actually have people who's dedicated job is to go round the store and price match with local competitors (you will see them walking around with brochures from other companies) so if its price matching between stores, I would say it's mostly due to prices not having been updated rather than the prices being set differently

          Are you sure?
They do, if it's available in same state I think..

          From the last post comments.

          Hi Mate,
Just picked up the Click LCD Digital Door Viewer $ 25 ( Was $ 49 ) for $22.50 lol
They had it at $29 at my local Bunnings in CRANBOURNE! Showed them the OP's pic and told them this was the price at another bunnings in Melbourne….to our luck the lady called the Vermont Sth bunnings and they had it $25 so they matched at beat it by 10% so lol got it for $22.50!!

          Receipt
Thanks OP for an awesome bargain
          Cheers

Well.. great effort yes. But why? You could've just said "great bargains in store, check 'm out yourself". There's "great effort" and there's "over the top bordering to ridiculous effort".

Neg me if you like, just needed to get this off my chest,

    • +4

      great effort yes. But why?

Some people can enjoy by making other's happy and saving their money. Thank you for writing how you feel it's.

    • Ok it's off your chest. Are you happy now?

    • I have to agree with bargained. I'm guessing most people are voting + just because of the effort. But since most bargains are store specific (not all), does that mean the logical progression from here is that we should have OzBargainers taking photos of every clearance item in every Bunnings, Masters, Mitre10, Target, BigW, Kmart, Myer etc. etc. in every store around the country and posting here?
BTW, I'm very impressed by the effort put in…

      • we should have OzBargainers taking photos of every clearance item

Don't post every clearance items. Post bargains(unbelievably reduced prices) and the things are under clearance that people really need these days(Eg: Heaters)too,if possible. I think, that will be helpful for others since it may be available in some stores and Some people have done price match.

Further, Bunnings does not publish many clearance items in their website like DS,OW,BW,etc. So it's good to let people know. Thanks for your comment.

Topic of the post is 'Amazing Bargains @ Bunnings' not the 'clearance items @ Bunnings'. There were plenty of items under clearance, were not published here. If you go, you you can check it out.

  • Nice work OP. A+ for Effort. True ozbarginer ;)

  • +1 for effort. Thanks WNK.

  • I agree, nice effort with this one. It's worth noting though that the "was" prices are not necessarily their most recent "was" price. For example the compost tumbler was last at about $79, not $119.

    • +1

Sometimes, worth to state the original price. For an example,
      2.Jackson 4 Outlet Professional Series Power board $20 ( Was 69>58>28)
But still $71 @ OWclick here
If I would say $20 ( was $28 ), the worth of the bargain cannot imagine.
      Sorry for inconvenience.

      • +2

        No inconvenience :)

I generally agree with you, just pointing out that people should consider each case and how genuine the reduction is for a particular item. But then again, this is OzBargain and you can be very sure that most people micro-analyse such details.

  • Could you please be kind enough to truly comment on stocks availability, if you go there….? Thank you.

  • Saw this energy saving power board for $20 from $29 there.

    http://products.planetark.org/paproducts/jackson.cfm

Also the other model crest the same price for $20.

  • Wow nice workrate!

  • Hi, thinking to buy $49 Maldives ceiling fan. Went to 2 stores in Perth but showing original price ($169) ask the girl to price match it however she said that she need some proof. If someone bought this item, can u please upload the tax invoice or tell me the store name ( she can call the store an double check it)

    Thanks
