Beach Cart Wheel Pin Replacement

I lost one of the pins that holds the wheel in place on my Tahwalhi beach cart. Does anyone know what this type of pin is called and where I could possibly get a replacement?

Bunnings! Take that pic in on your phone, they'll know the thing.
Looks like a split pin, but wider - You could just get a split pin and some pliers and bend it to fit though!

LOL Best of luck finding a staff member and even more so for someone with knowledge.

You could try to fit an R Clip on there. Bunnings sell them.

Cut up a coat hanger and bend to shape. If that is too thick get some tie wire.

Might be able to get something similar from an RC shop.. looks sort of like the pins that hold the shell on the body

  • As suggested by others above:

None are an exact match, but I expect that big hoop on the right hand side is just so you can easily pull it out. Just get the closest thing that works and bend as required.

There are wire form spring specialists, e.g. who will know where to source one and/or make one to order

Will need some sort of spring in the wire if you want to use it as intended. If you dont remove the wheels often, put a screw through it.

  • Looks like a job for a pair of pliers and a coat hanger…

    • or a nail, that's what I use on my ride on lawn mower to keep linkages in place that lost the clips/pins
      .

  • Use florist wire. Amazon or a craft shop?
