X3 Bar, Anyone Got One or Recommend a Cheaper Alternative?

So the TLDR is that it's a somewhat (by ozb standards anyway) overpriced steel bar with a bunch of resistance bands, which was developed by an entrepreneurial fellow who obtained his PhD from an unaccredited institution. Despite how all this sounds, his product has an almost cult following of people who love how effective it is and are showing off bodies all over on social media.

I have access to a squat rack and free weights at home and lift every other day, but have in recent months been wondering about giving (variable) resistance training a go. Could not bring myself to buy an X3 bar and have been wondering about other alternatives.

Curious to know if anyone has an experience with any of these?

That profit margin must be enormous, good hustle

Why not buy the cheap one and see for yourself?

    • Was going to do that, but there are so many off-brand versions. Was just curious to see if anyone on ozb had any experience with these.

  • EIGHT HUNDRED and SIXTY dollars for that?? lol

have been wondering about other alternatives

Let's assume that those particular exercises really are effective, your body isn't going to care whether the bar you use is X3 branded or not.

  • If you've got the balls, check AliExpress.

  • haha
