    Man maths of a (now ex) recovering alcoholic.
    2x 700ml Baron Samedi spiced rum @ $42 each (sale / clearance after a lot of searching* - $57.99 at my local Dan Murphy's) so $34.50 after splitting the max $15 cashback (already tracked after 5 mins).
    Decided to push the spend to $150+ to get the $10 birthday bonus cashback. Effectively 12.87% on full GST inc prices of two extra bottles: Another Baron Samedi for $36.60 (order limit of 3x) and a Negrita 700ml for $31.10 ($35.70 sale price).
    *Everton Park in Brisbane.

    Something I have not seen before …. 115 specials specifically only via the mobile app. These are inelligible for cashback. Looks like less and less cashback deals along with a small $15 cap.

      These retailers have a markup/profit over the cost price. They mostly don’t sell below cost. Whether Cashrewards or sales, they just reduce their profit for a bit to get more sales. So you usually can’t double dip.

      It’s different for end of model clear out where they happily sell for whatever.

    Always gets me, add to cart, go to checkout, realise it's after 9pm and store is closed. They've lost a lot of business with this rule.

    Their website doesn't let me place a pick up order if the chosen store is already closed for the day, no problem with the app though. Has anyone else come across this?

    BWS website is a crap. Error kept coming like - Pick up is unavailable at BWS xyz (Suburb) select a different stope for pick up. Same thing saying for all the stores. Even though they have quite few in stock. Tried all different spirits and stores. It’s a sh**t show.

    My order hasn’t tracked yet either, used the CR app.

    Last time this happened, CR added it manually after 7 days, then declined it months later as BWS didn’t attribute the sale to them. Ridiculous as they provide no evidence and I followed all the tips on the CR page
