170

Viva Las Vegas! This piggy-backs off the LA/San Francisco deal and finds a very reasonably priced flight to Las Vegas, Nevada! Sin City! Lost Wages! The Marriage Capital of the World! The Divorce Capital of America! The Gambling Capital of the World!

Essentially Fiji Airways via Nadi to LA, and then a local carrier (usually Spirit) onwards to Vegas.

Summary:
Sydney to Las Vegas (1 Feb - 30 Nov) from $1063
Melbourne to Las Vegas (1 Feb - 30 Nov) from $1058
Brisbane to Las Vegas (1 Feb - 30 Nov) from $1060

I can personally recommend Treasure Island hotel, Paris hotel, and Stratosphere. I will not recommend the motel next to the Greyhound station, although it may have improved since 2001…

There are plenty of hotel rooms on sale too

  • Do you ever offer NYC deals OP?

Currently, Delta is only $600-700 more return, one less stop and you don't have to fly spirit. If the extra $$ is too much then vegas shouldn't even be considered as a travel destination IMO as that place is designed to suck money from you left right and centre.

Qantas seems to have a USA sale regularly. If you can hold off for that you should be able to grab a Vegas return on UA/DL/QF for $1400 or so (UA/DL seem to price match QF sale).

It's fine if you don't gamble/gamble beyond your means. Plenty of things to do there and near there that don't cost a lot of money. much cheaper than LA overall

      • and MUCH cheaper than San Francisco's eye-watering prices of late!
