  Why is this still using unifying? Didn't this release wayy after logitech started rolling out bolt?
  It especially sucks cause it seems they do offer a bolt version, but it's only available through business partners!?

    Because the is the older 4k model. Probably a 'remaindered' stock clearance. We should be seeing heaps of them being sold on eBay anytime soon as N.O.S. (new, old stock).

    Among other differences (4k vs. 8k), they have dropped the unifying dongle and just use Blue tooth and a USB-C charge cable. I purchased mine for $89.99 from OW recently, price matched to Amazon's at the time plus the further 5% off.

    For me anyway, it's was a nice upgrade from the old model. Not cosmetic, but it is faster and more precise. I haven't compare charge times as the old units I had were getting toward end of life for the batteries anyway.
