      You can get the Sony a80k for under $3k, apparenyly comparable to the c2, but they have knocked $1400 off the price at the Good Guys.

    Personal experience in a major store near me….
    Spent around $3-4k on a complete bedroom setup for my daughter a year or so ago, better than mine lol.

    Negotiated the price, ready to pay.

    The manager came in after and wouldn't offer the 10% back on gift cards for my purchase when I was at the counter. Said the price was already too good.

    Walked out.

    (profanity) called me back an hour later trying to get me back in.

    Nice way to ruin a moment with my daughter.

        Gepps Cross. Undoubtedly the best store here.

        The older lady that served me nicely is still there in bedding I believe. Made it a beautiful experience with my young daughter choosing random accessories etc etc.

        Hope the manager isn't.

            @flashi007: Yeah I had better times with both of those stores, you do get exceptions, obviously not all salespeople at Gepps Cross are bastards but yeah I picked the shocker.

            There's the odd great one in the IT section actually.

            Someone that actually knows about it, not just how to read a brochure :)

    I was looking at phones and it's now on the site. Some T&C to be aware of though. Gift card can take 2 days delivery for online purchase and also expire in 2 months.

              @simon 84: I bought TV on Friday and the gift card was emailed to me right after it was delivered yesterday. But a PC I wanted to use the gift card for was already gone at HN. Found the same model at Domayne (HN franchise) and ordered it yesterday, but I'm not surprised if they cancel my order. Update: Domayne sent an email saying it's shipped. I don't believe it till I see a tracking number and ETA…

    Has anyone paid for a purchase with gift cards and also received the bonus gift cards? Was thinking of doing this with discounted gift cards to get some more value, but unsure if this will impact on the bonus gift cards. There's nothing that I can see in the terms, but I'm still a bit wary.
