This amazing model also features interchangeable sensor dishes and crew, so you decide whether to play out classic LEGO Star Wars adventures with Han, Leia, Chewbacca and C-3PO, or enter the world of Episode VII: The Force Awakens and VIII: The Last Jedi with older Han, Rey, Finn and BB-8! when considering if to buy this or not…….do i wish to remain married/do i value my life……… hrmmmmm

My approach was "It's Easier To Ask Forgiveness Than To Get Permission"

Just imagine what the quid pro quo is going to be.

      • I irritate the hell out of my wife, when she's at me for buying something, but impersonating Conor McGregor.."firstly, I'd like to apologise…FOR ABSOLUTELY EFN NUFFIN, THE DOUBLE CHAMP DOES WHAT HE WANTS"

    • Marry someone that will always support you!

    • My big issue, is wtf do you do with it? If you open it it's dropped its value, if not, it's a dust collector taking up a huge space that shouldn't exist?

I got a few collector sets I have nfi what to do with either….

      • Its the kind of set that you would want have space to be able to display. I bought to have fun building and show off on display :)

        • I get it, but where? How?

Like a table? It's just so big.

Married life with a 5yo kid, even in a technically 5br house, I still couldn't think of how.

@scuderiarmani: I will display mine on a hall table in my study

          • @scuderiarmani: Hang it on the wall as decoration

You can do it with most of the technic cars as well. It’s great for a man cave or study

Once it (eventually) retires, it will at some stage reach a point where even opened it's probably worth more than RRP, let alone a sale price. That might be a while off though, but you can open it and build it and still have a long term view that once retired it will regain value, albeit not as much as if it remained unopened.

      • You build it and enjoy every piece that you put together.

    • Haha - I am having to sell mine for the very same reason!

Really hoping for a deal on the star destroyer or titanic

    • Star Destroyer is basically OOS and retired, don't hold your breath.

Titanic - buy it tomorrow from the licenced Lego stores, they have triple VIP (ie 15% in points) for one day only. Probably the best deal you'll get unless it eventually goes to retail stores like Amazon.

  • AKA Marriage Destroyer.

    • Millennium Falcon is accurate, your partner will give you the falcon of the millennium when the box is delivered and they throw it at your head before waling out.
